Time is flying by! Before we know it the Christmas season will be upon us. Have you begun your shopping yet?

There is so much to do to prepare for Christmas that if I think too hard I can’t believe I will be able to do it all! Do you feel that way too?

I always gift my books to family and friends each Christmas. Well, I do give away books all year round also. I don’t think we can ever have too many books. Do you? I feel like Santa Claus this time of year and love it!

In this post I would like to share my suggestions for children’s books for PS-Grade 3. There are 19 children’s books to choose from in my collection. Most of them are in rhyme and all have life lessons. Children love books! There are so many to choose from online. I sure hope you will choose some of mine! Happy Reading!

Did you know that reading is good for you? It not only increases your word vocabulary and stimulates your mind, but also gives you a feeling of wellbeing and promotes good health, dispels feelings of loneliness, improves your memory, promotes better patterns of sleep, and don’t forget – it brings families closer when they share and read books together.

Please consider giving books to all the children on your list for all occasions. There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and welbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers.
