Writing for 18+ can be challenging!

As an eclectic writer I find some genres and ages more challenging than others to write. One of them is 18+. I began as a children’s book author and have written 19 books so far with another in the works.

Writing for 18+ is a lot more challenging to me than children’s stories since I have to be a grownup to write them. Ha! I can’t help being a kid at heart and it shows in my books. Adding some humor there gives me a little relief from the stress of being an adult when I write.

As this writing I have seven books for 18+ in multi-genres. It has been fun to jump around to different ages and genres. I feel doing this keeps me fresh and charged for the next project. There are several projects in the works at this time too. Phew!

Here are the seven books to choose from beginning with the latest book. There will be more in 2023!

There is something for everyone here. The material ranges from angels to serial killers. There is everything from mystery, suspense, paranormal, clairvoyance, thrillers to romance. The characters are diverse, intriguing and strong with many women at the helm here. I hope you will find something to your taste for this holiday season or any time.

As I said before, I have many irons in the fire and will be putting together some new material in 2023 for you to choose from. I don’t want you to get bored. The funny thing about writing, it takes longer to write a book than my readers can read them. So, bear with me. I have a lot of writing to do. But in the meantime, there are all these books to choose from to keep you from getting bored. Many of these books would make perfect gifts for the holidays, birthdays and anniversaries or other occasions that are coming up soon. Happy shopping!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Come back again soon, you hear! You are always welcome! Thank you for your kind support and any reviews you post on Amazon! I can’t wait to read them!

  1. I find writing YA more challenging, as I have to be more careful, lol.

I think it would be harder to write for that age group. They are almost adults. What you said about taking much longer to write a book than for our readers to read them reminds me of cooking a big meal. It may take hours to cook and minutes to consume. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I agree with cooking a big meal! So much goes into it but it is too quickly consumed! But on the other hand, that’s a compliment to the chef! I am currently reading your book, Bravos Wind and enjoying it. 💕
