A Lovely trip to Ogunquit Maine!

We try to take a few days in August or September to travel to Maine. We love this beautiful state especially Ogunquit where we enjoy walking Marginal Way (one mile each way) and visiting the shops at Perkin’s Cove. I never tire of this place or the food which is delicious! If you love seafood – this is the place to go!

When we got on the road, I noticed there wasn’t much change in color of the trees. On our way back though we could definitely see some color bursting out all over. By next week it will be even more vibrant for all the leaf peepers who are out and about to enjoy the beauty of New England fall weather.

Of course, I snapped plenty of photos to share with you. We stayed at a lovely place called, Sea Chambers. The room was surprisingly bigger than we expected. We were delighted with it. It also came with two beds, a nightstand, comfy couch, chair, coffee table, TV, a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, sink, plenty of storage for our things and a nice bathroom. It was wonderful for the price.

Here are some photos of the room.

Scenes on Marginal Way:

The weather was in the high 60’s to 70 each day. It was perfect!

It was a wonderful few days there. Hope to go back again next year.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post! I hope you enjoyed my photos and maybe one day visit beautiful Maine. Thank you for your kind support of my blog and books.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

We’ve never stopped in Ogunquit, but it looks like typical Maine! Gorgeous! And oh, the lobster! I need some soon!

I’m making my Portuguese Fisherman’s Stew today. Recipe on my blog. It’s delicious! All kinds of seafood plus lobster tails! Yum! It’s a ‘thank you’ dinner for my sister and husband who threw a birthday party for my husband’s 80th!

  5. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing. ❤ xo
