Fall is coming! Cooler Temps too! A Early Happy Birthday Celebration!

As I have mentioned in many posts in the past that fall is my favorite time of year. The temps are cooler and more comfortable. The air is crisper and clearer. The sky is bright. The trees begin their transformation into a gorgeous kaleidoscope of color that takes one breath away.

I love taking long walks and enjoying the beauty around me as I snap photo after photo much to my husband’s chagrin. Sigh!

Here are some photos of our back yard pond and trees that are changing in the neighborhood. As the colors deepen in shades or red, yellow and orange I will share them with you.

In the photo below there is a lone tree in the pond that has changed completely to red while others nearby haven’t begun their transformation.

You can spot some red coming the the photos above that I captured through my kitchen window. These two maple trees change first in our neighborhood to a brilliant red. If the weather stays warm during the day and cooler at night the color will burst out in all its glory soon. I can’t wait.

Notice how beautiful and clear the sky is today on 9/17/22! Amazing, isn’t it? It was a perfect day in every way for a celebration as noted below! Thank you, God, for giving us this lovely day!

We celebrated an early birthday for my husband who will be 80 soon. He was surprised and thrilled to see the whole family and friends there to celebrate. Here are some of the signs my sister put around about 80 years ago. I am only sharing these photos and one of my husband since most people do not want to be on display. A marvelous time was had by all – lots of food, fun and drink. This is the only time I ever surprised John with any kind of celebration. Even though he said he is oblivious to everything around him. Ha, ha! Because of the planning for this birthday celebration I haven’t had time to write a post until now. Sorry about that. I will do my best to post again soon!

I still can’t believe that he is 80 years young!? He looks great and is active and healthy, thank God! I feel blessed to have such a kind, caring, loving and wonderful husband!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Feel free to come back again real soon! You are always welcome. Thank you for your kind support of my books and blog and for any reviews you may post wherever you purchased my books!

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

Happy Birthday to your hubbie. My Hubs will be 79 this week – we celebrated by going to one of Elton John’s concerts on what is his last tour. It was quite the experience!
