What are you reading now?

If you are like me, you love to read all kinds of books. I can’t read enough. I read more than I write, believe it or not with 39 published books and counting. You could say I am a little obsessed with reading.

I read all kinds of books, mysteries, suspense, fantasy, children’s, young adult, middle-grade, preteen, and in all genres. There are a few genres that I refuse to read though – zombies, horror and explicit situations and language. I have to draw the line somewhere! Ha!

What are you reading now? You can see from my Monthly Reads and Reviews what I have read so far. Keep tuning in for more. I read between 7-9 books a month on the average depending upon the length of each book. Books are getting longer. Have you noticed that?

My two books in a fantasy series, Gateskin Chronicles, is 500 and 600+ pages respectively. I don’t think the next book in this series will be 700 pages though! I don’t think I want to edit it since I read it several times to complete my editing routine. After my beta readers read it and send me their notes, I read it again and make any necessary changes. Phew! It’s exhausting! I think editing is more exhausting and not as much fun as writing the story but a necessary part of the process. This makes me want to keep the next book under 550 if possible.

If fantasy is not your forte, there are plenty more books in all different genres for you to choose from on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Happy shopping! You can click on the above links or below and peruse all my 39 books. More are coming this year and beyond.

How about mystery/suspense/crime?

Or do you prefer paranormal/mystery/romance?

Or maybe mystery/clairvoyant/romance?

Do you like short stories?

How about historical fiction/romance?

Whatever you are reading, please remember to review to help authors promote their books by spreading word about them through your words. Thank you.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post. Feel free to come back any time. You are always welcome. Thank you for your kind support.
