5.0 out of 5 stars Gateskin To the Rescue! Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2022

King Gateskin is a very benevolent ruler, but he is no dummy. When the evil King Kaposkaran’s Kingdom is overrun with huge Cat-like creatures, & most of his guards & their families have disappeared, he begs King Gateskin for help. In helping the refugees, King Gateskin knows there is a spy in their midst. Will he figure out who the spy is? Gateskin’s daughter Serena, is a very powerful, kind Enchantress who is able to communicate with & help a pack of wolves who have come looking for refuge as well.
So many cute & scary creatures pop up in this book. Janice has done a great job with this fantasy world. The ending perfectly leads right into the next book

Blurb:

The adventures continue in this addition of Gateskin Chronicles. Many new characters and creatures are introduced. Spells abound with magic all around. Many visitors come to Sovorotskina looking for asylum from the evil King Kaposkaran of Parotovina. Will King Gateskin accept them all or even be able to trust them not to be spies for the evil King?

Serena uses her powers to assist when wolves come their way. Other creatures are also about and threaten the safety of the village.

Kaposkaran finds himself in trouble when his village is attacked by creatures. Will he turn to Gateskin for help? If he does, what will Gateskin do?

There is a spy about in Sovorotskina. Will the spy be discovered and somehow stopped from undermining the magic of King Gateskin and his family?

It is truly wonderful to receive a review of an epic production as this fantasy series. It takes a lot of energy, time and blood, sweat and tears to complete each book. I feel quite wasted after each book. Book 3 is in its infancy stages right now. I had to go to some lighter WIPs to get recharged. Sigh!

After this 6-book series is complete I will go to the lighter WIPs (two of which are going to series) that will not take too much out of me. I am, after all, not getting any younger and can’t drain myself too much. There are a lot more stories to pump out of his crazy brain of mine. I hope you will enjoy each and every one!

If you haven’t check out this book yet, I would be thrilled if you did! You can click on the covers to the right of this post or go directly to Amazon above or below and BN below.
