Jemsbooks children’s books have received 6 MOM’S CHOICE AWARDS, 7 PINNACLE BOOK ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS.

The life lessons that this book shares with your children are:

Lucy the Talented Toy Terrier – Lucy teaches children to be kind to pets, how important a pet can be and how much this pet loves us unconditionally.

Word Art – Lucy

I wrote this book in memoriam and dedication to my dog, Lucy. She did everything that I describe in this book. She was my constant companion and friend when I really needed one. She came to me in an extremely difficult point in my life. I consider her my savior for without her I would have been completely lost. She listened to me when I was sad and licked my tears when I had reached a point of no return. She was a wonderful dog and can never be replaced. I did have two more dogs and a cat after she passed but they never filled that hole left by her passing. Sigh!

If you have ever had a special dog or cat or other pet like Lucy, you will know what I mean. I think of her daily and miss her with all my heart for she was a part of my family. As I write this I feel tears welling up again. I can’t seem to talk about her without that happening and she has been gone too many years to count now.

MOM’S CHOICE AWARD – SILVER MEDAL WINNER!

This book is based on my dog, Lucy, who I had for 16 years. She was quite a character and did all the things that are in this book. She loved my spaghetti with homemade sauce, watched TV shows featuring animals, hated baths, “sang” when music was played, and had two cherished possessions, a knotted rag and a ball. I hope you will enjoy reading about Lucy. She is no longer with us and can never be replaced.

I hope you will check out this book and all my other children’s books for entertaining reading to delight your children and keep them occupied during the long summer days ahead. My books just may become your children’s favorite bedtime stories that are requested each night. Happy reading!
