A spring-like day in March 2022!

I don’t know how everyone else feels in New England, but I am more than ready for spring to be sprung!! How about you?

We had a lovely spring-like day on March 18, 2022. It reached 70 degrees F. What a treat! I had picked this day to clean house but after completing this tiring job I sat outside for a little while. My husband had cleaned off the deck from the detritus of the winter months, leaves, dirt and bird poop were some of the things that disappeared! Hurray! I do love watching the birds but hate all the poop they leave behind. Yuck!

John cleaning the back deck

Now all we have to do is bring out the deck furniture and arrange it to our liking. My husband loves to rearrange the furniture ad finitum! I don’t mind. It would all stay the same forever if I had my way. But I like to see how creative he can be. Ha!

When the deck needs cleaning we realize how large it is. it takes more time for the first spring cleaning (2-3 hours) to clean it. He will do this several more times over the spring and summer months. It keeps John busy.

I will feature a finished photo of the deck all decked out with furniture in another post. I don’t think this weather will last for long. We may even get another snowstorm along the way into April. But in the meantime it is nice to have a pleasant day to be outside to enjoy the clean air, listen to the birds chirping happily and just relax. Ahh!

But whatever I do I never completely stopping doing writing, blogging, reading, reviewing or working on my WIP. I just can’t sit still for long. I am relaxing here in the one deck chair my husband put out for me while I create this post.

Nice sky view with possible rain later this evening

Well, I guess I will end this post and go inside. It is beginning to feel a little chillier all of a sudden.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post. Please come back again soon for more posts about whatever pops into my already overcrowded brain. There will be more author interviews, book reviews and odds and ends to entertain you.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

Spring has sprung here with some 70 days and one in the low 80s! We’ve planted our pansies (proof against a sudden freeze) and two tomato plants. More flowers to come. Redbud and Bradford pears are out and daffodils are almost gone by. I caught the fever at our local gardening store last weekend!. Enjoy what’s coming!
