JEMSBOOKS Children’s Books – Mom’s Choice Award Winners!

I have been fortunate and honored to have received 6 Mom’s Choice Awards – Silver Medals for my children’s books. It is always a thrill to receive recognition for my work. As an Indie Author it is not an easy road to travel alone against so many millions of others who are trying to get their books out there too.

I am grateful to Mom’s Choice Awards for the honors I have received since 2014. Check out their site for promoting your books today – @momschoiceawards.

This book is based on my dog, Lucy, who I had for 16 years. She was quite a character and did all the things that are in this book. She loved my spaghetti with homemade sauce, watched TV shows featuring animals, hated baths, “sang” when music was played, and had two cherished possessions, a knotted rag and a ball. I hope you will enjoy reading about Lucy. She is no longer with us and can never be replaced.

MOM’S CHOICE AWARDS WINNER – SILVER MEDAL!
Once upon a time there were two children who loved their father so much that they missed him terribly each time he had toleave to go away to find buyers for his woodworking. The two children, Chris and Kim, were each given a gift made by their father to keep close to them until he could return. They worried whether he would return and prayed on the first star they saw each night that he would come home safely. This story portrays the love that a father has for his children and them for him in return. It shows that being kind to others by putting others before you can be rewarding. Also, some things like love and good health are far more important than riches.

Please consider giving books to all the children on your list for all occasions. There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and welbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers. Thank you for your support!
