Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Today, January 29, 2022 we got our first big snowstorm. We received 8-10 inches today! It was cold, windy and snowy all day. I didn’t leave the house but watched it come down. I like it that way, not having to drive in it and just being able to enjoy it while I safe and warm inside!

Here are some photos I snapped from inside my house. Ha!

I feel bad for the birds. They have been eating ravenously all day to keep warm. They puff out their chests to expand their feathers to keep the warmth inside. Somehow they manage to survive but I am sure some who are not strong and healthy are not as fortunate. My husband keeps the feeders full to help them out.

I hope wherever you live you are safe and warm inside or maybe outside. We in New England are doing our best to keep warm in cold and snowy weather. Even though we have cold winters we are hardy and survive inside keeping warm. I am not an outdoorsy person anyway. I am a homebody but do love the warmer weather and enjoy it on my deck or taking long walks with my husband. It feels as if the warmer weather will not be here for a long time. I will keep busy in the meantime working on my WIP, blogging, emails and social media until the spring.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post. Please come back again real soon. You are always welcome! Thank you for your kind support of my blog and books and for any reviews you post wherever my books are sold.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

  1. Oh my, look at the snow, Janice. It is very pretty but I prefer to view it from afar.

I travelled many miles to get away from snow, even though I grew up with it. Stay warm and safe. xo

I would prefer this to the sleet and ice we’ve been getting. Our bird feeder is so overpopulated that we’ve installed another one!

Thank goodness neither of us live in Stoughton! We had 15″ here.

I want some of that white stuff! Everyone keeps hogging my snow! *pouts*
