Taking A Breather between Projects!

I had such a busy and productive year in 2020 that I am taking a breather before going into the next book which needs editing.

What have I been doing?

I have been reading, blogging, answering emails, promoting on social media and other outlets, and recently began a new afghan in crochet.

I have also recently discovered a series on Netflix that I love – HAVEN! But, I learned that this series with 5 seasons, which is based on a Stephen King book, The Colorado Kid, will be ending on January 14th. I am binge watching it and am only into season 2. I will never be able to finish it. Sigh! I’m doing my best though and hope to complete watching at least 3 seasons in the next couple of days.

Have you seen this series? What do you think about it?

Haven on Netflix

This series is incredibly creative and there is always something unusual happening in this town of Haven, Maine. It’s such a beautiful place. I wonder if it was filmed in a part of Maine. I would love living there in this lovely area. I enjoy looking at the scenery when each story begins. It looks so peaceful, lovely and quaint. Maine is one of my favorite place to visit during the summer months.

Watching this series sparks my creativity more than ever. It makes me want to create a series that is as fantastic as this. We authors all want to be as famous as Stephen King. But there is only one King.

Once this series stops I will get back to my newest book, an historical novel. I wrote it before I retired in 2010 and put it aside since I had so many other books to complete.

    This is a breather? 🙂 😉

  2. Rest and nurture yourself, Janice. That’s a necessity, not a luxury. Hugs on the wing!

Have a good, well deserved rest! I LOVE Historical ANYTHING! Can’t wait to Beta Read it! I don’t have Netflix anymore. I have Philo, Roku, & antenna for free local channels. I do have to finish a crocheted afghan soon, tho.
