Jeffrey the Jittery Giraffe – published in May 2017

Your children will love Jeffrey too!

I wrote this book for a little boy who was shy and easily frightened. His grandmother came to one of my book signings and told me about him. She asked if I would write a story for help him deal with his shyness and insecurities. This is it. Unfortunately I was unable to reach her to share this book with her and her grandson. This is, therefore, for all the children out there who are afraid of lightning or other things. I hope this book helps them become brave like Jeffrey.

Introduce Jeffrey to your children today!

Please consider giving books to all the children on your list for all occasions. There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and wellbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers. Thank you for your support!

Blurb:

Jeffrey is a nervous giraffe due to a terrible storm on the day of his birth. He remembers that day and is frightened of any kind of noise or unexpected things happening to him. His mother tells him that he is stronger than he thinks.

One day Jeffrey meets another giraffe who needs his help. Read this story in rhyme and find out what important lesson Jeffrey learns when he thinks of others before himself.

Jeffrey won a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award!
