An Angel Among Us – Published in February 2017

I wrote this short story collection within a week’s time. Each story has a twist to it and a surprise ending. Editing it took more time than the writing. The first story was written in memory of a high school friend who was sick with cancer. She died in 2017 a short time before I completed publishing this book.

She and I reconnected through Facebook and reminisced over our high school reunions. When she told me that she was dying I promised to dedicate the first short story and this book to her. I shared our notes from emails and her response when I told her I would dedicate the book to her at the end of the story. She was a lovely, kind, caring person who had a wonderful sense of humor. She is greatly missed not only by me but by many of her other friends.
