Are you ready for Halloween when the ghosts, goblins, scary monsters and things go bump in the night? Children everywhere are waiting impatiently for the fun night.

With all the craziness that we have had this year some cities and towns are opting out of Halloween for the safety of the children. It is too sad to think that they won’t have this night. So many things have been taken away from children in 2020. I feel that as long as parents are with their children and know all the houses they stop at, it should be safe.
Once children are home parents should go through all the candy and throw away all unwrapped ones and clean off the outside wrappers of the others with a disinfectant. All should be safe for them to eat.
For the children who don’t get to go out maybe parents can buy tons of their children’s favorite candy and let them snack short of getting sick, put on a scary Halloween movie and popped the popcorn. Pssst, parents don’t forget to buy your favorites too so you can join in on the snacking!
I plan to have some dark chocolate with almonds on hand for me and my husband. I won’t eat any other kind of chocolate – only dark chocolate. I’ll also pop some corn and watch a good movie.

Here are some of my Halloween decorations.

If you don’t want your children to eat too much candy then purchase a fun book for them from Jemsbooks.com. No worries about cavities and your children will have fun reading as they expand their creativity and vocabulary and become healthier in mind and body.
