This Year 2020 will be known as:
The Year that changed the world!
The Year that stopped the world from living normally!
The Year that never was!
The Year that time stopped!
The Year that killed many!
The Year that violence took over!
The Year that China was our downfall!
The Year that COVID-19 came!
The Year that we learned how to sanitize everything in our lives!
The Year that destroyed the normal in our lives!
The Year that changed everyone forever!
The Year that we started living from day to day!
The Year that families were lockdown for months together!
The Year that we got to know our immediate families better – some good, some not!
The Year that we grew closer even though we were farther apart!
The Year that made us think seriously about everything that we do!
The Year that school was halted from March to June!
The Year that school changed from online to hybrid models that no one understands!
The Year that many chose to teach their own children online.
The Year that many small businesses closed!
The Year that we ordered takeout instead of going out to eat!
The Year movies were no longer shown on the big screen but on Pay Per TV instead!
The Year that TV provided more entertainment in the form of more apps.
The Year that TV changed forever – no more audiences – just white noise or pre-recorded audience noise!
The Year that we adjusted to doing less outside and more inside.
The Year that we learned to do without many things!
The Year that our minds sparked with creativity in order to keep boredom at bay!
The Year that delayed many sports!
The Year that basketball had to go into a bubble!
The Year that we all did what we had to do to survive!
The Year that many more prayed it would all be over soon!
The Year that we learned to trust each other and be kinder to one another.
The Year that we slowed down and took a breath with masks on.
The Year that we had to think about whether it was safe before going out.
The Year that will always be remembered but not fondly by all!
The Year that we will all be glad when it’s over and it is 2021!
May you all be safe and well the rest of this crazy year. God Bless!
Wishing you all good health and a prosperous year ahead.
There are some positive things to mention. Umm, I’m thinking. Just a minute! Oh yes, flowers still bloomed and my vegetables still grew!

It is, and continues to be, a strange and surreal time, Janice. I’m glad you have managed to stay productive.
Hope you are well too and keeping productive and safe! 💕🙏
For all the reasons most people will be glad of it, and a few personal reasons too, I for one will be glad when this year is over, and am hoping for a much better one next year.
I’m glad your flowers and garden have been doing well, and that it’s been a good year for you as an author. I hope that continues to be the case for the rest of 2020 and beyond.
Thank you, Tori! Wishing you all the best too! 🤗🙏
Thanks.
