Looking for Some Reading during this Pandemic?

If you are looking for some suggestions for books to read during this long pandemic check out the books below. Here are the links to Amazon and Barnes & Noble (Novels 18+) and Barnes & Noble (children’s books). Who knows when we will all get back to normal. What is normal anyway?

Once each state decides when they are ready to return to the status quo it may be summer. I hope and pray it doesn’t take that long. Will it be safe to go into crowds again? That is the most important question for all of us. We worry about our health when we go out into the world again especially if you are older as I am.

Here in New Hampshire USA it is snowing again! Can you believe it? I sit here in my kitchen after breakfast and type this as I watch it come down. I know it will not last because we have temps in the 50’s and 60’s coming tomorrow and next week. This is crazy New England weather though. But, you know, I wouldn’t live anywhere else. I guess my heart is here and will die here.

Here are some promos from AllAuthor featuring my books for all ages. Enjoy and stay safe at home until your government tells you it is safe. God Bless everyone!

Mariah Series – Hunting Mariah and Mariah’s Revenge

This series will keep you spellbound and swiftly turning pages to see what happens next! You will be blown away by the ending in the first book – Hunting Mariah and feel satisfied with the continuation of the story in Mariah’s Revenge!

Hunting Mariah

A reader recently told me that she put Hunting Mariah on her nightstand to read that evening but it was not there. Her husband had taken it and began to read it and couldn’t put it down! He promptly went into Amazon and ordered Mariah’s Revenge. He said ‘this is the best book I read in a long time!’ He berated his wife for not telling him about this book sooner. He loved it! She just laughed at him because he is not a reader – ever!! She had to share this anomaly with me.

Mariah’s Revenge – Thriller/mystery/suspense/crime

I was blown away by that interchange! I guess I made a reader of him! That is one reason why I will begin book 3 of the Mariah Series in 2021 followed by hopefully three more books. When I do a series I like to do it in six books. I think that is enough so I won’t get stagnant in one series. I like to move around and try different genres too. It keeps me on top of my game.

Here are some suggestions for your kids who are getting antsy being at home. In New Hampshire school has been cancelled for the remainder of the year. That means home schooling will continue through June. I feel bad for the teachers who have to plan even more and do online teaching besides teaching their own children at home. My daughter and my niece are both teachers and they have told me that they are working harder than ever doing it from home. They also have to check in with the school system and receive questions from their students at all times of the day that they must answer. Phew! Kudos to all these wonderful teachers for helping keep our children, grandchildren on target to learning and growing creative! God bless them all!

This magical series is for kids PS-Grade 3! There are six books in the series with a different dragon introduced in each book plus Drystan – the star of the series. There are seven dragons in all – four are male and three are female.

It is a fun, educational series for children to learn letters, colors and good behavior, friendship, respect and kindness toward others. Check it out today! Your children will love the rhyming and descriptions of each dragon. There is a poem that introduces a new dragon to each book. All dragons’ names begin with the letter ‘D’ and their colors will be in brilliant shades of blue, green, red, purple, pink, orange and brown. A fun series for kids to enjoy and learn at the same time. This series will keep them occupied and happy all year round. Children will love reading these books and they may become their favorite books at bedtime and any time. The illustrations and covers were created by my husband, John.

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!
