Introducing Sally Cronin and her Wonderful New Book!

I am honored to share, Sally Cronin, my talented author/blogger/friend’s new book, Life’s Rich Tapestry Woven in Words. Sally is an exceptional person, unselfish in all that she does to support her fellow authors on her fabulous blog, Smorgasbord Blog Magazine.

When you visit her site check out all her books and those of her fellow authors, plus all the informative health and nutritional advise she has to offer as a dedicated nutrionist. Sally carries many hats and does so many things expertly. You will love her site and her latest book as much as I did. I attached my review at the end of this post.

BLURB:

Life’s Rich Tapestry is a collection of verse, microfiction and short stories that explore many aspects of our human nature and the wonders of the natural world. Reflections on our earliest beginnings and what is yet to come, with characters as diverse as a French speaking elephant and a cyborg warrior.

Finding the right number of syllables for a Haiku, Tanka, Etheree or Cinquain focuses the mind; as does 99 word microfiction, bringing a different level of intensity to storytelling. You will find stories about the past, the present and the future told in 17 syllables to 2,000 words, all celebrating life.

This book is also recognition of the value to a writer, of being part of a generous and inspiring blogging community, where writing challenges encourage us to explore new styles and genres.

(Sally’s Bio) Link to her Blog about her book.

I have been a storyteller most of my life (my mother called them fibs!). Poetry, song lyrics and short stories were left behind when work and life intruded, but that all changed in 1996.

My first book Size Matters was a health and weight loss book based on my own experiences of losing 70kilo. I have written another twelve books since then on health and also fiction including three collections of short stories. My latest collection is Life’s Rich Tapestry : Woven in Words.. verse, micro fiction and short stories.

I am an indie author and proud to be one. My greatest pleasure comes from those readers who enjoy my take on health, characters and twisted endings… and of course come back for more.

As a writer I know how important it is to have help in marketing books.. as important as my own promotion is, I believe it is important to support others. I offer a number of FREE promotional opportunities on my blog and linked to my social media. If you are an author who would like to be promoted to a new audience of dedicated readers, please contact me via my blog. All it will cost you is a few minutes of your time. Look forward to hearing from you.

Here is my review of Sally’s lovely book.

Jjspina5.0 out of 5 stars A Captivating Book Full of Rich Prose and Stories!December 17, 2019Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseA lovely collection of verse, micro fiction and short stories that contains an interesting and enjoyable assortment for all tastes. The verse is written in the author’s eloquent style that captures the attention and heart of the reader.

This book is artistically created by a master storyteller who knows how to grab her audience and keep them captive. I thoroughly enjoyed all the work of this creative author but was spellbound by some of the short stories which I think are her specialty. Sally Cronin has her own unique style in her writing as she spins a story and entwines twists and turns and some surprising elements into the mix that captivated this reader.

Some of the stories are touching, while others are profound as the one about elephants, and still others brought tears to my eyes. I especially loved the one about the grandmother. I won’t spoil it by telling you anything. You must read this book. I’m sure you will be as delighted as I was with this talented author’s latest publication.

I highly recommend this book as well as all her previous creations.

Thank you so much for stopping by to learn about Sally Cronin’s newest book. It is sure to be a best seller. I hope you will check it out and discover the magic of Sally’s creative storytelling power.

I had hoped to read it over the holiday period but it hasn’t happened and I’ve hardly read anything – to much going on, too many visitors. Seems rude to fish my kindle out when someone has called round but I’m looking forward to when I do get to it.

  4. A fabulous review, Janice. I also loved this new book of Sally’s. Of course, I love all her work, but it was great to see her spreading her wings into new genre’s. I agree that Sally is really good at writing short stories that make you climb into the skin of her characters.

  5. Great review, Janice! I hope to start this one soon 🙂
