My Goals Met for 2019 and My Projected Goals for 2020!

Well, another year has gone by and I have met some of my goals for 2019. I planned to write and publish five books in 2019. I wrote nine books but only published three so far. I am working on Book 4 of Abby & Holly Series and Book 1 of a dragon series and hope to have Book 4 of Abby & Holly and Book 1 and 2 of the dragon series completed in January of 2020.

Jemsbooks for all ages

My other goal was in reading and reviewing books by other authors from Goodreads. I managed to read 116 books, meeting and going over my goal of 95 books. I also reviewed all 116 books on Amazon and Goodreads.

I always give myself some lofty goals to meet but this keeps me going strong and working harder to meet them. Being my toughest critic helps to make me a better writer and forces me to strive to reach higher each year.

For 2020 my goals are;

I plan to write and publish 4 books.

I plan to read and review 90 books (possibly more) on Goodreads.

I will continue to support my fellow authors on social media and by reading and reviewing their books.

I plan to keep encouraging all ages to read for their health and well being.

Over the next few years I plan to finish up the dragon series up to six books, two more books in the Abby & Holly series, begin a YA fantasy series with several books, hopefully another novel and possibly more books in the Mariah series and an historical novel. But who knows? I may change my mind. As long as I have a title I can go into any direction! There are sure to be some surprises for me too! That’s the joy of being a writer who lets her characters tell the story.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post. I appreciate your kind support and the reviews of my books. Your reviews are deeply valued and enable other readers to learn about my books. They also make my books viable in the eyes of Amazon. Please keep them coming! I love to hear from readers about my books. Contact me by email at jjspina(at)comcast(dot)net.

    Well done, Janice. Your goals for 2020 are excellent and doable. Thanks for supporting your fellow authors. All the best for 2020.

  2. Even though you only published three of the planned five books in 2019, I think you should give yourself a huge pat on the back. Well done on writing so many we’ll get to read in the near future, and on reading and reviewing so many books. I look forward to seeing what you end up achieving from your 2020 goals.
