Have you Noticed the Beauty of the fall in New England?

I recently wrote a post about the fall in New England. I should have waited a little longer for the colors to come out fully in all their splendor. Here are some photos that I snapped as we traveled around our town today (10/10/19).

Even the darkening skies could not blot out the beauty of the local golf course near our home in above two photos. I have gotten incredible shots of this golf course each season. It is breathtakingly beautiful. Wouldn’t you agree?

Red Beauty – even as it drops its leaves
Orange Beauty

I was snapping like crazy today to try to capture the beauty of the kaleidoscope of colors in our neighborhood. The photos are good but could not capture the true beauty that took my breath away! I love New England in the fall!

Before long the leaves will be gone and so will the colors that frame my photos. I want to keep these for all to enjoy for posterity.

Thank you for stopping by to gaze at my photos. If you live in New England you are used to this beauty and sometimes we take it for granted. Sigh. But if you live any other place where you do not have seasons then you will appreciate these photos even more.

There is beauty in life if we only open our eyes to the sights, ears to the sounds and noses to smell the sweet and lovely scents to enjoy it all. I wish you a lovely day wherever you live.

  1. I love the colours, Janice. They are gorgeous. A much darker red than what we see in JOhannesburg.

It is becoming more beautiful each day. I love it! It’s nice to have this before we go into the frigid winter! It makes us forget for a short time what is coming next. 🤗

Anyone who has ever lived somewhere that doesn’t have seasons ( or trees! ) will really appreciate autumn and of course New England is famous Worldwide – I would rather visit there than Disneyland!

Beautiful – thanks for sharing. Our trees are turning in Scotland but they don’t look nearly as dramatic as yours.

Thank you, Mary! Ours keep changing and becoming more beautiful! I took some photos too soon before they peaked. Maybe yours are late too. Keep a watch on them. I am enjoying the splendor of this season before we go into the winter. Brrr! 🤗 😘

  5. Lovely, Janice! I’d be a happy camper with just two seasons; spring and fall, lol

Gorgeous! We have fall colors here, but not as brilliant this year. I was explaining to my 2 1/2- year-old granddaughter that the leaves are starting to fall off the trees. She said, “No, put them back!”
