I can’t believe how fast summer has flown by. The weather is changing and the trees are revealing their true colors of red, yellow, and orange. There is beauty everywhere you look. This is my favorite time of year!
I love the crispness of the air, apples (honey crisp my favorite) aplenty at the orchards nearby, the sweet smell of falling leaves, and the gorgeous display of color all over New England! It will soon be leaf peepers time!
Living in New Hampshire we don’t have to travel far to see the colors – right in our neighborhood.
We have our fall decorations out early this year. Usually we are so late in putting them out that we only get to enjoy them a week or so before we have to put out the Christmas stuff. I hate to rush the seasons but that is evident in all the stores you visit. They have had Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff out for a couple of weeks already! Yikes!
Here are some of the trees in the neighborhood that are showing off their fall colors. All I have to do is look out my kitchen window and there is beauty for the eye to behold.
The colors aren’t as vibrant as in past years but still beautiful. I recently went on a mini-vacation up to Vermont. I will do a post all about it. It was a fun time with our friends and a nice time to getaway!
Here is a photo of the golf course that is nearby our neighborhood. This photo was taken in 2013. The colors were more brilliant.
