New Books Are Brewing at!

It’s the New Year 2019 and things are brewing up for a full year of new books for Jemsbooks! I took some time off over the holiday to spend time with family and catch up with friends.

Now it’s back to business as usual. I have set some lofty goals (publish 5 books and read and review 95 books) to push myself this year. My muse is back with a vengeance. I guess having a little break was a good thing to do. It gave my muse time to recharge.

I have started a series of stories for children. I plan to have seven in this series. If they do well I may do more. I will share more later about these books.

I need to get back to my middle-grade series, Davey & Derek Junior Detectives Series and Abby & Holly Series. I was thrilled to receive a Pinnacle Book Award for Abby & Holly Book 1 in late December of 2018. What a wonderful way to begin a new year!

Watch for Abby & HollyBooks 3 & 4 coming in 2019!

Also Davey & Derek will be back in Book 6 with more mysteries and fun adventures.

I have a YA fantasy waiting in the wings that is nipping at my mind. I only have writtenone book so far but I plan to write 5 or 6 more in this fantasy series. It will have to wait until the children’s and MG series are completed.

Working on these projects will keep me busy for two years and more.

Did I mention my husband is working on illustrations for another children’s book? Sigh!

I will be keeping John busy with all the chapter illustrations that will be needed to complete these series. Stay tuned for more info here and at

Thank you for stopping by to hear about my new projects. I appreciate your kind support in 2018 and hope you will follow me and my books in 2019.

Please review authors’ books to show them how much you enjoy reading their books! We will love you for each review! Reviews are one way we authors learn what our readers like or not about our books. Thank you so much!

Blessings & hugs,
