HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Thanksgiving Pumpkin Lights
Thanksgiving
A time to give thanks
A time to show our love
A time to share all that we have
A time to pray together
A time to look forward not back
A time to heal all wounds
A time to forgive all wrongs
A time to give of ourselves to others
A time to savor the precious moments
A time to be thankful to God
Wishing you and yours a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!

When I think of Thanksgiving I think of the first visitors to our land – the Pilgrims and how they celebrated their first Thanksgiving with the Indians. They shared their food and gave thanks to God. Now we think of turkey and all the fixings, pumpkin pie and other delicious desserts. But we do say a prayer to give thanks to God for all our blessings. For without Him we would not exist.
Here is my prep for baking pumpkin pies. I made a large one for the family and two smaller ones (for my husband and me to have after Thanksgiving). Yum!
Thank you for stopping by. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not I wish you wonderful days ahead as this year races towards the end of 2018.
