TWIN LAKES CIVITAN – HELPING SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN TO READ! BOOKS NEEDED!
I have blogged in the past about this admirable organization, Twin Lakes Civitan, that helps special needs children of all ages to read by collecting books from authors. Read previous posts, here, here and here.

I just wanted to touch base with you. Our club still collects books through out the year to pack in a book bag and give out to Special Needs children in our area schools. At this point, we give to the following schools: Cotter, Norfork, Calico Rock, Mountain Home, Flippin, and Yellville-Summit schools here in northern Arkansas. We may add a christian academy this year. We filled approx. 180 book bags last year. The kids and the teachers love the project. It is accually one of our favorite projects.The books you have sent to us in the past were wonderful and most appreciated. We were wondering if you would be interested in helping us again this year.Our address is still Twin Lakes Civitan P.O. Box 1613 Mountain Home, AR 72654.
