You can call it an unselfish but shameless promotion. I hate to admit it but yes, it is! I will lose some money in this promotion but hopefully you will want to spread the word about how shocking Book 1 is with your family and friends. Then they will want to purchase it too. We authors like to think positive. We will do whatever we can to put our books into the hands of eager readers!
Many people who know me as an author of sweet and innocent children’s books have been surprised by my first novel, Hunting Mariah. If you want to know the truth, I am too! I don’t know where it came from but I was relieved to get it out and over with. I only wrote the second book when I received requests for it.
I would love to hear from readers by your reviews after you finish with one or both books. Reviews are like early Christmas gifts! I can’t wait to unwrap them all year round. For an Indie Author reviews are our livelihood. Amazon won’t even look at us without 100 or more reviews. That is the reason I am on the top 10% of reviewers on Amazon. I read and review over 100 books a year. I am trying to do my part to help fellow authors with reviews. You can be a top Amazon reviewer too! Start now with my book! LOL!
If every person who purchased one of my books reviewed it, I would be in the top 10% for reviews! How exciting that would be!
