I recently finished a book signing which was a success! (sighs with relief) Thanks to my husband, John, for lifting, carrying and moving boxes from the car to the hall and back again. They may have been a little lighter after the book signing. Haha!
I met so many lovely people at this venue who chatted with me. Some shared their reasons for shopping at this craft fair, others just were visiting and taking in the sights, while still others shopped until they dropped or ran out of money.
One woman with two children mentioned that she was interested in my books for some future baby showers. I think this was a wonderful idea to gift books for a baby shower.
It appears that some mothers-to-be are asking for books for their shower gifts for their babies. They want a complete library. I will happily oblige anyone who is looking for a complete set of my children’s books for a baby shower, birthday, Christmas or other kind of gift.

Let me know when you will need this gift and which books you would like to purchase. I will do my best to get them to you as long as you give me enough time. The mail can be an unpredictable thing. I will include a bookmark (two-sided) in each book purchased.
Christmas is racing toward us! Yikes! But since I will be away for three weeks I will not be able to ship out any books until after November 20, 2017. I will make note of all who request books (autographed) and send them out as soon as possible once I return. I am sure I will get them to you by Christmas if you are in the USA. Others outside of the USA I can’t promise books will arrive in time for Christmas. Children’s and Middle Grade books are $12.00 each and 18+ books are $15.00 each. Shipping in the USA is $2.50 per book. Payments can be made through PayPal. Once I receive your order I can send you an invoice. After payment is received I will mail out the books.

Janice, Congratulations on the book signing! 😀 Were you nervous? A great idea about selling them as a bundle for baby showers and good luck with this venture! Alas we don’t have baby showers in the UK which is a pity as they seem such a happy and helpful event.
Thanks, Annika. No, wasn’t nervous but a little excited about meeting people and what their impressions would be about my books. It’s funny, because people didn’t know the books were mine. They thought that I was selling someone else’s books. My husband kept telling them that I was the author and I told them he was the illustrator. They were surprised! Ha!
We plan on having a poster made of us and putting it on our table at the next book signing stating that we are author and illustrator. Maybe we will get more sales even that way.
Too bad that you don’t have baby showers in the UK. It is a fun time for the mother and her guests to get together. 😃
