Now that I am back from my Sicily vacation I can enjoy the beauty right here at home. Here are the flowers on our back deck before I left on June 10th and now on July 2nd. I did add a new pot to replace one that didn’t do well.
Here is the pond in our back yard that is growing profusely! We have an invasive vine all around the fence that is reaching out toward our house. It’s a little like a horror movie! The landscaper needs to do some heavy-duty clipping, real soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip but it’s good to be home again to sleep in our own bed and get back to a more relaxed schedule. So far we have been very busy with family stuff. Love spending time with our grandchildren. They keep us hopping.
Here are my beautiful roses. My husband didn’t cut them back too much this year and I’m happy he didn’t. They really bloomed more fully, don’t you think?
