Two weeks in beautiful Aruba was heavenly but like all good things, it came to an end. Here are several photos of this lovely little island for you to enjoy.
The food was delicious and included several different kinds of fish – grouper, red snapper (my favorite), mahi mahi, Chilean sea bass, barracuda, wahoo, yellow snapper, and all kinds of shellfish, and lovely steaks (Argentinian and New York beef) and plenty of Italian food!

Divi Divi trees, that grow in the direction of the wind, cacti, and beautiful flowering bushes are all around the Divi Aruba Phoenix Resort where we stayed on this desert island.

Lizards are plenty here and iguana but I couldn’t find one to photograph

Lovely artistic shell creations by Ara aka the shell lady – this incredible woman in her seventies still walks all the way down the beach for 5-6 miles each day to collect shells that she shares with everyone on the beach.

It was a wonderful vacation as you can see from the photos. Thank you for stopping by!
Happy to be back but I do miss the warmer weather there and the glorious water that feels like you are sitting in a warm Jacuzzi. Ahhh! We spent hours in the water soaking our tired old bones and talking to our new and old friends. Oh well, have to wait until next year to do it again.
Blessings & hugs!
Janice

Aruba is and has been on my travel bucket list but I have not made it there, yet. Between you and a niece of mine who visits there quite frequently I might have to move it up on the list.
A very inviting post and it appears that you had a great time. Love the photos too. :o)
