I love walking all year round for exercise and just to enjoy being outdoors in the lovely weather. Being especially observant I notice everything beautiful or even strange. I took a photo of this moth on my slider recently. It actually waved its legs in annoyance at me. It was evidently trying to nap. It is a tad creepy, wouldn’t you agree?
I can’t help myself when I see flowers I have to snap a few pics. Here is a small circle near my home that my husband and I take care of and plant flowers each year.

The beautiful red and green leaves are from the tree we planted several years ago, a red forest pansy. In the spring it has lovely red blossoms.

The variegated marigolds have filled in and created a magnificent border around the tree while inside the circle are gorgeous purple striped petunias. A lovely red rose bush stands amongst these holding its own beauty. Plenty of water is provided each day to give these beauties a chance to thrive in the scorching summer temps.
Caring for these beautiful flowers clears my head and awakens my creativity. Time to get back to my books. I feel refreshed and ready to create more adventures.
I am working on Books 3 & 4 of the Davey & Derek Junior Detectives Series. There is plenty of fun, adventures, magic and mystery for all ages with twins, Davey and Derek Donato. Go to http://Amazon.com/author/janicespina7 for your copy and get in on all the magic in books 1 & 2.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are enjoying your summer reading! Remember – Reading Gives You Wings to Fly!
