How Strong Are You?

How strong are you?

I have asked myself that question numerous times recently. I don’t think of myself as a strong person. I believe that God will give strength to those who need it. When trouble comes your way He is the one you turn to. He has given me strength to deal with difficult times.

Here is a gorgeous Baltimore oriole. His brilliant orange chest is beautiful. I had to take this from inside because he was a little skittish when I was too close. He has a distinctive call that cheers me up as I go running to catch a glimpse of him in all his splendor.

Life sometimes can kick you in the teeth when you least expect it. I still have my teeth but they feel a little wobbly so to speak. We are all tested during our lives in different ways, it is how well we weather the storm that matters. We can’t do this without His help.

Look at the birds so small and fragile but they somehow survive cold weather and bounce back on a warm summer day. They are resilient and fascinating to watch. Some days I feel like a little bird. If God watches over them He will surely take care of me too.

I am like this little dahlia as it struggles to survive. It opens its arms to the heavens and absorbs the warm sunshine to gain strength.

Things are beginning to look up now. God is there and I am leaning heavily on His shoulders. I pray that anyone who is in need will turn to Him.

Thanks to God for all His blessings and to my family and friends for their love and support.

Blessings and love to all!

Thank you for stopping by. I have taken some time off from writing but hope to publish a novel soon then onto two more middle-grade books of my detective series. Peace be with you all.

    My Friend,
You are a strong person. You gave me a glimpse into your past when you were here. You were strong then, and you are now.
With God’s help and guidence, you will face the future as well.
    Many hugs to you both.

It is hard to understand how those tiny birds make it through the winter. You must be thinking about this verse: “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” The birds in your yard are stunning! Such colors!

Wish you all the best with your upcoming book and your family situation.

I thought you were going to say the bird lifted something! lol
I have to rely on God too. By myself, I’m VERY weak!!
