This is an interesting story that I found hard to put down. A story of innocence robbed while maintaining the strength found in families and the support they provide while overcoming obstacles. The author takes you on the journey of Mariah as she regains her memory after encountering devastating trauma to her psyche. As the story line develops the reader is taken into ever darker places of a mentally disturbed individual seeking revenge of a life gone wrong. The story touches on the most fundamental human instincts – the fears that reach into our inner beings.

I thought this was an interesting tale with lots of twists and Turns. meet Mariah who is in the hospital with a memory block. As the reader slowly learns the strange events from Mariah’s past the mystery starts to unravel, but the ending still may surprise you. I liked this story and thought the author did a great job weaving this tale of suspense. I did find the conversations a little stiff at times, but it did not distract from the story which is a great read and a step into a person’s mind.
