How are you doing with your New Year’s Resolutions? I am having a difficult time doing my two or more blogs a week. I feel that I have not kept my resolution and met my obligation to you, my readers. Please forgive me.
I have had other things going on in my life that needed to be taken care of first. Now that I am getting into the swing of things with these other issues I am going to work on some new blogs and interviews.
This blog today is a special ‘thank you’ to all those wonderful fellow bloggers, authors who have been supportive of my work all year. The world seems so much smaller lately since I have been online. I have met some wonderful people from all over the globe.
Two of them have become my very best friends in just a year’s time. I would like to thank these two people first.
Paul G. Day is very talented and creative whether he is writing books in multi-genres, creating a fantastic book video, trailer or a movie, or just blogging. We met online and starting corresponding and sharing each other’s books. Paul asked me to be his copy editor on his books, a job that I enjoy immensely. His books are always a joy to read and are eclectic in genres. He has something for every one.
Paul has always found time to support me in any way he can on Twitter, LinkedIn, my blog and website and Goodreads. If I have a question about anything to do with publishing he always seems to have an answer. He created an adorable book trailer for my children’s book, Louey the Lazy Elephant. If you haven’t see it yet check it out. You will be amazed at the quality of all of his work on his website and blog. Louey’s book trailer
Paul is the founder of PiA, Published Indie Authors, which is a website that supports and promotes Indie Authors, Illustrators, and Publishers. Paul enlisted my support on PiA and I became a co-founder, blogger, facilitator, and recruiter. He has done a tremendous job on PiA by sharing his knowledge and expertise and teaching experience with all the members. He is always willing to help those who are in need. PiA has become a popular site with over 5,000 page views and over 3,000 followers thanks to Paul’s hard work and dedication. Check out this wonderful site to see what PiA has to offer and look over the selection of books for all ages from many talented authors.
Please check Paul G. Day out. You will be amazed at what he has written and accomplished over the past year alone. Thank you, Paul, for all you have done for me this past year. I greatly appreciate your support and friendship and will continue to be your #1 fan and friend.
Deanie H. Dunne is a kind, generous and warm person with a great sense of humor who cannot do enough for others around her. She has a beautiful new blog and is a talented author of children’s books about horses and their animal friends.
I met Deanie online and came across her blog and books and fell in love with her lovely horse stories. We quickly became fast friends by following each other online and sharing our experiences and information about publishing. We have interviewed each other on our blogs.
Deanie asked me to be her copy editor of her books which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Deanie is also a dedicated member of PiA. We continue to email each other three or four times a week and share our goals and accomplishments.
Please check out Deanie H. Dunne‘s books, that are illustrated by her talented sister, Holly Humphreys Bajaj. Deanie’s books are inspiring and teach life lessons, and perseverance in times of strife. Deanie is an inspirational person who has overcome difficult obstacles in her own life.
Thank you Deanie for your support and friendship and for always being there when I needed a cheery word and a good laugh. I will be here for you, too, in 2014.
Chris Graham is a kind and generous person who gives above and beyond to others. He has a fantastic blog that supports and promotes other bloggers, authors, illustrators, and publishers. Chris looks for ways to do all he can to showcase the talents of authors, writers and others. He asks for nothing in return. I think he is an incredibly unselfish person in everything that he does. I met Chris online when I came across the furry ape on his blog and was at once smitten with the ape and the creativity of Chris’ blog.
Chris has been kind enough to post my books and an interview with me on his blog. I, in turn, did an interview on him on my blog and on PiA. Please visit Chris’ amazing website and blog. You will be smitten too.
Thank you, Chris, for all you do to help support me and my books. I appreciate your friendship and will continue to support you too.
Sarah Mazor of MazorBooks is a sweet and friendly, highly intelligent and a creative publisher and author of exceptional children’s books. MazorBooks are essential for children of all ages in that they teach life lessons in a kind and sensitive way. Sarah’s books promote good values in children. Please check her excellent list of books on her beautiful website.
Thank you, Sarah, for all that you have done to support me over the past year and for your kindness and friendship. Sarah was kind enough to interview me on her website and share and promote my books. I became a beta reader for her books and thoroughly enjoy them all. I read them to my granddaughter who just loves Oh No, There are Monsters in My Room and asks me to read it every time I see her. Sarah continues to support me on FB, TW and Goodreads. Sarah, I will continue to support and value your friendship and your creative books in every way that I can.
Aviva Gittle of Aviva Gittle eBooks is a creative and talented author and publisher of children’s books. Her books are creative and colorful and excel in teaching life lessons and promoting good values in children. I met Aviva online and noticed her lovely books when she was looking for beta readers. I jumped at the chance to read her books and love them all.
Aviva offered to interview my husband and I on her website and I, in turn, interviewed her on mine. Please go to Aviva’s site above and see the interview and all her lovely books.
Thank you Aviva for all you have done to help promote and support my books. I appreciate your friendship and will continue to read and review all your books and support you in 2014.
Michael Fedison is a talented blogger and author of the incredible book, Eye Dancers, who writes a fascinating and creative blog about such subjects as sci/fi and his musing about writing and episodes of the Twilight Zone. I find his blog thoroughly enjoyable and can’t get enough of his writing.
Michael has been a supportive friend over the past year and we have interviewed each other on our blogs. Thank you, Michael, for all your support and kindness and your friendship. I will be reading and supporting your blog over the year.
Thank you to some new friends for their support and friendship: Bette Stevens and Jodi Desautels.
There are so many other friends I have made over the past year that are too numerous to mention. But I want to thank all of you for being so kind as to follow me on my blog and other sites. I hope you will continue to read and follow me. I promise to work hard to make my blogs as interesting and informative as I can.
Please follow me and I will follow you on TW, FB, LI, Goodreads, Pinterest, iAuthor, PiA and my website too.
Best wishes for 2014 and may you have much success in whatever you do.

Food wins out every time Janice LOL 😀
So sweet, my furry ape friend! Lol!
Thank you so much, Janice! When you reflect back on a year it’s always amazing how many people you interact with. And, how much you accomplish (because I think most of us think that we don’t do as much as we should). Sounds like many of us had a great, productive year. Looking forward to checking out the blogs and books mentioned here. I’m also falling for the ape. So manly…lol!
You are more than welcome Aviva! It is a pleasure to know you and be a beta reader for your books. Yes, I guess we can say we have done a lot over the past year. I have met you and so many other wonderful people and feel blessed to have so many online friends! Thank you for your support.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, my friend.
What a lovely and heartwarming surprise, Janice.
The kind words and wonderful sentiments you express regarding your friends actually reflect your essence. This past year I observed with delight not only your creation of two beautiful children’s books that would and should enrich every child’s library but also your generosity of spirit! You help, you encourage, and you promote your author friends without reservation. It is my privilege and honor to associate with you and I look forward to celebrating your continued success!
Oh Sarah, you are welcome. You brought tears to my eyes with your lovely words! You are definitely a wonderful person, reason why I will continue to do all I can to support you and your beautiful books! Thank you! It is my pleasure to know you and to call you a dear friend! Much success to you too. xo
