This has always been my favorite time of year.
The air is ever so crisp and clear.
The sky is a brilliant shade of blue,
And even the clouds can’t cover its’ hue.
The trees are ripening to beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow,
And it is a perfect time to take a walk with my very special fellow.
If only the trees will hold their lovely leaves a bit longer,
But then the wind begins to blow a little stronger.
I feel like a kid again as I skip through the leaves,
That are falling from all of the trees.
I gaze about at all nature’s beauty around me.
And it makes me happy to be alive as any one can see.
I know that we must enjoy this season while it lasts
Because soon it will all be in the past,
And I am truly thankful for all this glorious beauty He sends us from above.
Autumn is surely a sign for all of God’s love.
Thank you readers for stopping by. I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful fall weather and all the beauty around us.
REMEMBER: READING GIVES YOU WINGS TO FLY!
Thought for the day: Get up and move around and keep yourself healthy and take a walk in this beautiful weather!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us! Fall is Holly’s favorite season, too. I guess I’m a big fan of Summer instead. But Fall certainly is pretty. I can’ t blame you for loving it.
Thank you Deanie. I appreciate you kind comments. I do love it! Summer is pretty nice too!
It’s spring here. But I agree, Autumn is beautiful. Summer is way too hot here. It can get to 48 degrees (118F) and once we had fifteen days straight over 35 (95F). I love those colors. Thanks for sharing your poem.
Our summer can be hot but not like Australia! I agree that is too hot! Hope your spring is more pleasant and comfortable.
