Memorial Day

MEMORIAL DAY

image image imageimageimageimage

Please remember those who served proudly and bravely for their country so we could be free.

They traveled far and wide.

Served their country with pride.

Walked long distances shoulder to shoulder, side by side.

Men, women, Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy, Coast Guard.imageimageimageimageimage

Obstacles they did encounter and overcome.

To protect those at home.

They gave unselfishly in all their actions.

So that many lost their lives.

And have left fatherless children and widowed wives.

Others did go home but suffered from loss of limbs.

Or of mental capacities diminished.

They did all they could doing the jobs that could not be finished.

God bless all those who sacrificed so much for all of us so we could be free.

And a very grateful and profound thank you to all  who gave their lives so we could live in this beautiful land of endless opportunity.

  1. That’s beautiful, Janice. It’s so important that we all honor our servicemen and women. We owe them a debt we can’t repay. They’re amazing and we should remember to honor them every day.
