Limerick of Jemsbooks – Louey the Lazy Elephant!

I shared some of this post previously and wanted to share Louey with you once again. He is lonely and hopes that you will take him home with you to share with your children. Let Louey teach your children valuable life lessons about not being lazy and, of course, always listen to your mother. Along with the adorable illustrations by my husband, John, children will enjoy the story in rhyme which will keep them engaged. They will ask for you to read Louey again and again.

Louey
Word Art – Louey the Lazy Elephant

I perused my lovely friend, Bette A. Stevens’ website, when she posted a beautiful limerick about her beloved butterflies. Check it out here.

I found her limerick quite entertaining and decided to give it a try on my children’s books. I hope you enjoy them. I plan to post a different limerick for each of my young children’s books.

Here is the limerick for my first published book (2013):

Louey the Lazy Elephant

There once was an elephant named Louey,

Who overslept one day, oh phooey!

He woke up to find

The herd left him behind.

Now he’ll no longer be lazy Louey!

Blurb:

Louey is an adorable but lazy elephant who likes to sleep late. One day Louey wakes up to find that the whole herd has moved on without him. Louey is very upset but he is determined to find his herd. Does Louey find his way to his family and friends? Does he learn that it doesn’t pay to be lazy? Take Louey home with you and find out.

Jemsbooks’ children’s books have life lessons within the stories. Louey will teach children that it doesn’t pay to be lazy.

Jemsbooks instill good behavior in young children by repetition and rhyming. Children will have fun reading while they learn how to behave politely and with respect to others.

Check out the lovely reviews on Amazon!

This children’s book was the first book I published back in 2013. I was excited but anxious about whether Louey would be lost in the myriad books on Amazon. Louey has been one of my most popular books behind Jerry the Crabby Crayfish.

All my children’s books carry valuable life lessons for your young children to learn. I hope these lessons will stay with them for a lifetime and will be passed on to their children and grandchildren. Keep them reading!

Reading is important not only to keep your children’s reading levels up all year long but also it can increase their vocabulary, spark their creativity, enhance their health and wellbeing, and encourage them to become lovers of books. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers who will become successful and confident adults one day.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support of my books and blog. Please stop by again soon.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

A Winged Visitor today!

We had a surprise visitor to our back deck today at dinner time. We were enjoying watching the birds avidly eating at the feeders we have. Suddenly John saw a large bird fly by our window causing all the birds to take cover. Unfortunately, I think one did not get away.

This awesome hawk appeared on our deck moments later. Here are a few photos I snapped. In one of them he lands on one of our petunia plants and appears to be eating something. I know he has to eat too but I hate to think of a poor unsuspecting little bird who was his dinner.

He is quite an incredible creature, isn’t he? We have seen some hawks before in our backyard but never this close. We enjoy seeing different animals in our yard such as fox, deer, rabbits, ground hogs, coyotes, turkeys and feral cats.

I have never snapped a photo of a coyote though since I haven’t seen one but heard others say that they have seen them in our yard.

I love living in New Hampshire with all the beauty and nature around us. I love the changing seasons, the awakening of nature in spring, the beauty of the growing flowers and plants in summer, the crispness, scents and glorious colors of leaves in the fall, and the cold stillness of winter with all the footprints in the snow. It is a wonderful place to live. You never tire of one season for long with its ever changing temperatures.

I hope wherever you live that you are happy, healthy and enjoying each day as if it were your last. Each day is a beginning and brings joy and new discoveries if we only look for them. Wishing you peace and love and may God bless you.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support of my blog and books. Come back again soon.

Baking in between writing!

I love to bake which makes my husband happy! He is always asking for a pie or some other item. I keep telling him that we cannot keep eating all these sweets! Our weight will escalate more than they already have! Yikes!

Here are some of the items I have baked over the past weeks. I haven’t done as much writing but need to get back to my WIP. I have to stop baking then I will have time to write.

Blueberry bread (made today 8/20/24)

As you can see, John loves blueberry pie! I usually have more than enough blueberries to eat each week. I think he buys extras just so that I will make him another pie! Sigh!

I love blueberry pie too, unfortunately. The cherry was good but not as good as the blueberry. I made it for our neighbors who came over for pie and coffee after going out to dinner together.

Today I made blueberry bread to share with another neighbor, my BFF, who is sick. Please keep her in mind when you say prayers. The more prayers she receives the better. Thank you so much!

If you would like my recipe, please let me know and I will include it in Janice’s Kitchen Corner page.

I enjoy baking but wish I didn’t like to eat it too! Making blueberry pie is so much easier than making apple pie (which I love too)! I make my own crust and have honed my craft, I must add. Sorry about that. But it is very good! I wish I could make a pie for all of you to thank you for following me and reading my books.

Well, it is time to exercise so that I will be able to eat some of my blueberry bread and then back to my WIP. Branyrd the Angel Book 4 is waiting for me and this Angel who is normally patient is losing her patience with me. Please check out all the Branyrd series today to keep up-to-date on what this sweet and adorable Angel is doing. I add some humor to tough situations. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoy writing about her. Don’t we all need an ANGEL in our lives? I know I do!

An Angelic/fantasy/spiritual/current events series that will grab you and entertain you along with a few chuckles!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Come back again any time. You are always welcome.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

Flowers to brighten your day and some birds too!

Does summer seem like it is going by too fast? We haven’t enjoyed our back deck much this year with all the severe heat and then rain. We did get out there yesterday with neighbors and will again this weekend with family until it rains once again.

I snapped some photos of some of the flowers that are surviving and a few of hummingbirds along with a video of hummingbirds fighting over the fresh food my husband had put there.

Hummingbirds are fascinating but do not like to share their food source as you can see in the above video. The bird in the above video stayed a long time to let me snap his picture.

I hope these photos of my flowers and the birds will lift your spirits. They always do that for me each time I take pictures them. Summer is so fleeting and with it goes the beauty of the flowers and the migration of the birds here. I enjoy it all while I can until another year.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Come back again soon for more posts about books, reviews, and whatever pops into my already overcrowded head.

Bittersweet is growing wild once again and a story for children about this!

Do you know what bittersweet is? Here is a link to discover more about this invasive plant that is invading our backyard. I have even written a story in one of my children’s books, Bedtime Stories for Children Series. Check it out below.

Here is a photo of it in our backyard.

Bittersweet is known to smother other plants and trees and eventually kill them. We have seen the damage they can do every year. I used to cut it back myself but suffered from sore fingers and hands from trying to keep it at bay. Now our landscaper for the community is supposed to do this every year or two. This year it has grown immensely from all the heat and rain we have had this summer, and densely covers the fence bordering the pond. It will be almost impossible to get it all out if they wait too long.

We have watched it as it has grown up and attached itself to trees nearby and completely covered them. We even tried to pull it away and cut it to give the tree some breathing room. But this vine is wiry and can grow fast and cover a tree in short order. It would be quite amazing if it wasn’t so frustrating to see in action. If left to it own devices, bittersweet will wipe out a forest of trees in short order leaving nothing but empty trees trunks to be their backbone or skeleton, you could say.

I have seen how it can send shoots underground and plant itself closer to our house and back deck. If I see a new shoot coming up I pull it right away. If it wasn’t cut away from time to time it would eventually cover our whole house. It is something of nightmares which I do not like to think about. With my overactive mind as a writer, I can easily visualize that happening. Yikes!

I have looked up ways to completely destroy it and get rid of it completely, of course until birds eat the berries and drop the seeds all over the yard once again. Sigh! I have heard of people who own goats and rent them out to others who have this vine. What the goats do is eat the vine right down to the roots thus destroying any sign of it. I think this is a great idea. Now I need to convince our community to do something like this. They will surely think I have lost my mind. If we don’t get rid of this vine I surely will lose my mind!

Now back to the story that I wrote for children. In my four Bedtime Stories for Children Series, Make Believe, Make Believe is Fun, Make Believe Again and Make Believe Once Again, you will read about things that I have experienced or that are pure fantasy from my over creative mind.

This series is for children ages 5-8 who want to be more grown up and read chapter books like the older kids do. They will feel more grown up and want to read more and more. I promise you! These stories are different and all carry life lessons for your children to learn early and often in order to incorporate them into their young ever expanding minds.

MOM’S CHOICE AWARD WINNER – SILVER MEDAL!

This is book 2 of the Bedtime Stories for Children Series. There are six tales with an illustration for each. Children will read about two squirrels, a turkey, a frog, a tree, a leopard and mouse, and a cat. These animal tales will delight children and become their favorite bedtime stories.

Each story carries life lessons that will help children understand about the importance of friendship, helping others in need, family, and it’s okay to be different

MOM’S CHOICE AWARDS SILVER MEDAL WINNER!

Bedtime Stories for Children is back again with six more fun and entertaining stories for children ages 5-8. In this book children will read about a porcupine and a beaver, a snake, a deer, a fox and baby bluebird, a cow and a horse.

Each story carries important life lessons such as helping others in need, being kind to others, friendship is important, and it’s okay to be different.

MOM’S CHOICE AWARDS SILVER MEDAL WINNER!

The Bedtime Stories series is here once again with six more fun and entertaining stories for children ages 5-8. In this book children will read about a dragonfly, a goat, a candle, a chicken and a rooster, a boy and a pelican and a fish, and a starfish.

Each story carries important life lessons such as helping others in need, being kind to others, it’s okay to be different, family matters more than riches or being famous, friends are important, and be the best you can be.

This series was a fun adventure in writing for me to create short stories for children with chapters and an illustration for each page for all six stories created by my husband. It was a different type of book for him to work on too. John realized that he could create individual illustrations faster and for more stories in less time that it had taken for him to create illustrations for any of my previous children’s books. I think he was hooked and so was I. We may work on more of these books later on after other projects are completed.

If you haven’t introduced your children to these chapter books, I hope you will soon for them to enjoy and read every day or night. These books may become their favorite stories that they will request at bedtime or any time. Did I mention that they are educational too? You will find your children asking more questions about the characters and stories thus increasing their creativity, adding more new vocabulary (good ones) to their lists, and getting away from TV and video gaming for longer periods of time. They may even become lovers of reading! I sure hope they do!

Reading is important not only to keep your children’s reading levels up all year long but also it can increase their vocabulary, spark their creativity, enhance their health and wellbeing, and encourage them to become lovers of books. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers who will become successful and confident adults one day.

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!

Here are the life lessons that your children will learn from these books:

Make Believe: Bedtime Stories for Children Book 1: These six stories promote good behavior, encourage children to be kind to others, friends are important, differences should be accepted, and we are all unique and special.

Make Believe is Fun: Bedtime Stories for Children Book 2: These six stories help children to realize the importance of friendship, family, helping others in need and that it’s okay to be different.

Make Believe Again: Bedtime Stories for Children Book 3: These six stories promote good behavior in children as they learn valuable life lessons to be kind to others in need, family and friends are important and it’s okay to be different.

Make Believe Once Again: Bedtime Stories for Children Book 4: These six stories promote good behavior in children as they learn to be kind to others, it’s okay to be different, family matters more than riches or being famous, friends are important, and be the best you can be.

Interview with Author Annabelle Franklin!

I am pleased to welcome fellow author, Annabelle Franklin, to Jemsbooks Interview an Author.

Annabelle Franklin

Hi, Annabelle! It’s so nice to have you visit again. Please share a little about yourself and your books with my readers and me.

Please tell us something about yourself.

I’ve written stories all my life, though only recently produced anything I’ve considered worth publishing. I have three children’s books out now, and short stories in three anthologies. All my stories involve some sort of magic. I’ve never grown out of my love of magic; it makes life so much more interesting, and when it goes wrong the results can be hilarious – though not, of course, for the characters involved!

Jjspina: I agree about magic. I love it too! You did succeed in putting in some comic relief in your latest book.

What projects are you currently working on?

For the past 8 years I’ve been working on my Bad Boy Wizard series for 7-10 year olds. The first book was published in June this year, and I’m still editing and polishing the others. For me, the editing and polishing is the best bit! A first draft can be like pulling teeth, but it’s great fun turning that first draft into a story that works. I always think it’s like sculpting a statue from a rough block of stone.

Jjspina: Bad Boy Wizard is a great way to begin this series. I wish I felt the same about editing and polishing as you do. I find it tiring but necessary.

What hobbies do you have when you are not writing?

Dogs! I volunteer for Greyhound Rescue, and I have a whippet who is a qualified therapy hound – though how she passed the assessment I don’t know, as she can be a little horror at times. She reminds me of one of those monkeys in Thailand who steal people’s snacks and sunglasses. Luckily she’s as good as gold when I take her to visit people in care homes, or to local colleges to de-stress the students at exam time.

Jjspina: That is wonderful that you volunteer with your therapy hound to help others in need. Dogs are special and can do wonders for humans to de-stress.

Please share your books with us and a synopsis of each.

In The Astral Gatecrashers: Bad Boy Wizard Book 1, Charlie Busby is visited by a mischievous ghost who claims to have a ‘special connection’ with him. The ghost also tells Charlie he has magical power – all he has to do is will things to happen. Armed with too much power and too little knowledge, Charlie attracts a gang of delinquent entities who cause chaos in the staid little village where he lives. Their main aim is to make trouble for him, and he regrets being careless with his magic – especially as one of them is literally after his guts! Can he send them back to the astral plane before he’s turned into sausages?

In Gateway to Magic, Steven Topcliff’s cousin Tracy has goaded him into activating a one-way portal to Fairyland. Now he’s trapped there, which is very bad news for a boy who’s addicted to gaming, because all tech is banned by law and punishable by banishment to the terrible Forest of Pointy Fingers. To return to Earth, Steven must forge a portal that will take him home – but first he must believe in himself enough to do the necessary magic.

In The Slapstyx, astral-travelling twins Georgie and Gem have to battle a tribe of goblins whose job it is to fill human homes with dirt and grime. These grubby goblins have been enlisted by greedy businessman Zachary Zigstack to manufacture dirt that can only be removed with his eco-unfriendly cleaning products. This evil scheme is killing off the sea creatures, and it’s up to the twins to put an end to it, before the goblins put an end to them.

Jjspina: All your books sound wonderful. I have two of them on my TBR list that I look forward to reading.

Please share your links and where to purchase your books.

The Astral Gatecrashers: https://mybook.to/TheAstralGatecrashers

Gateway to Magic: http://myBook.to/Gateway2Magic

The Slapstyx: http://myBook.to/TheSlapstyx

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

St Nazare in Portugal. I have a fascination with giant waves, and thanks to a deep undersea channel the waves in St Nazare can reach heights of 100ft. I wouldn’t attempt to surf them myself, but it would be exhilarating to watch people who are brave enough to do it.

Jjspina: Wow, that does sound fantastic! I love Portugal I have been there a couple of times but never to St. Nazare.

What would you rather be, an animal or a vegetable?

Definitely an animal! I think it would be boring to be a vegetable and never go anywhere – unless, of course, I’d been magicked by the Bad Boy Wizard! In the second book of the series (out next year) he brings all the vegetables to life, and they turn into monsters and terrorize the village.

Jjspina: I agree with you there, Annabelle, that animals are much more fun and not at all boring as vegetables. Your next book sounds like quite a fun and riotous adventure – veggie monsters on the prowl.

Speak for one of your characters in your books for this interview.

My name is Charlie Busby, and I’m in Year 5 in Upper Bottom Village School. I didn’t want to be bad, but my mother is impossible to please! She makes so many stupid rules, my life would be totally boring if I stuck to them all. Life is totally boring in Upper Bottom anyway, so I try to liven things up a bit with pranks to entertain my friends – and since I discovered my magical power, the pranks have got even better. I just wish my magic wouldn’t keep going wrong!

Jjspina: Charlie sounds like quite a character and a handful for his mother. His character makes for a fun and entertaining story.

A fun beginning full of adventures of this Bad Boy Wizard Series!

Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2024

The Astral Gatecrashers book 1 of the Bad Boy Wizard series is an enjoyable series for middle-graders and preteens. Even though I am not either of these I found this book to be intriguing as the myriad characters came on the scene and the main protagonist took front stage.

This is a creative series with all kinds of mayhem happening at every turn causing much havoc for Charlie, the bad boy wizard himself. The only thing wrong is that Charlie doesn’t know he can do magic until he meets a ghost of himself from the past who convinces him to try to perform some magic by changing a stuffed owl into a dog. Unfortunately, Charlie’s first try at magic is anything but successful causing him to get into more trouble not only with his mother but also with his teachers at school.

The story continues with more mishaps for Charlie as he conjures up creatures that haunt him every chance they get which gets him expelled from school and sent to his room by his mother for days. How will Charlie ever figure out how to send back these strange creatures to wherever they came from and get his mother to trust him again.

This is an enjoyable romp of a tale for middle-graders and preteens that will make them avidly anticipating the next installment of this fun series of adventures with the Bad Boy Wizard.

Annabelle was here once before. This is her previous interview here.

Thank you so much, Annabelle, for coming today and sharing a little about yourself and your books. It was a pleasure to have you here. Please feel free to come back again with new projects to share.

Thank you, readers, for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Free free to come back again soon. You are always welcome.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

Branyrd the Angel is coming in Book 4!

Watch for the newest book in the Branyrd the Angel Series coming in September (fingers crossed)! Branyrd will have another tough mission to tackle along her trusty Guardian Angel, Benedicto. Benedicto adds a little muscle and some comic relief in serious or dangerous situations.

Each of these books deals with current or recent events in our world, some of the problems that we are trying to solve and the violence that is unfortunately harming many. Can an Angel handle all this? Read this series and find out what Branyrd can do.

This is not a children’s book. Branyrd is a different kind of angel. She has a difficult time being understood because of her habit of getting into all kinds of trouble and for her unacceptable language. Angels are not supposed to swear.

This angel must earn levels to be accepted by the LORD. She is presently at Angel Fourth Class and must ascend to Angel First Class in order to be given a mission to travel to Earth to help a human in trouble.

Once she reaches Angel First Class, she is given a mission and travels to Earth to help a battered woman and her child. Since she is so new to the ways on Earth, Branyrd is accompanied by her Guardian Angel Benedicto, Angel First Class on High, who guides and advises her.

Branyrd doesn’t know what she will do or how she will complete this mission. She must show her strengths and succeed, or she may be demoted. What she finds on Earth is not what she expected. It certainly is nothing like Heaven. There are dangerous people but also those who she will miss dearly when she must leave.

Branyrd goes on another mission to Earth, this time she has been enlisted to help a homeless vet and his young son. The Angel goes out of her way to put things right for Lucas and his son, Ezra. She finds it difficult through with the influx of empathic messages and feelings that threaten to overload her. Will she be able to help Lucas get his family back together and find his way to recovery after suffering from PTSD?

Branyrd is a funny, sweet, strong, resilient and capable Angel who is not afraid to take on the toughest tasks, who strives to pave the way for those in need, who creates change and makes a difference in the lives of others that enables them to find their way forward to a good life.

When Branyrd visits a homeless community, she meets with the mayor to work out a plan to solve the problems the homeless have there. Will others stop her from helping those in need? Will Benedicto be there in case she needs his intervention? Will Branyrd be able to break free from the connections she has made when it is time for her to leave Earth and return to Heaven?

Branyrd is on another mission which may be the toughest one so far. She has been sent to a troubled island in the South Pacific that is being attacked by the fellow islands in the archipelago. Her mission is to rescue some children from an orphanage during the attacks.

She is escorted, once again, by her Guardian Angel, Benedicto, who is there as counsel and aide as she completes her mission. What Branyrd finds there is devastation and heartbreak as she tackles the mission, this time one of love for the children and the rest of the islanders who have lost family and homes.

There are many obstacles that stand in her way and danger for the children and others as she must rescue not only them, but also another island that is in danger of sinking.

There is so much violence, unrest, and evil in our world today. What will it take to bring back peace, freedom, and safety to all? Maybe what we all need is an Angel like Branyrd.

I think in our lives it would be advantageous to have a little help along the way. An Angel like Branyrd would be perfect to have watch over you. Don’t you think? I know I have had Angels watching over me all my life. I have had a few close calls and still here because of my Guardian Angel. Have you had any times that you felt as if you had an Angel on your shoulder who was watching over you?

Let me share a little about my experiences.

When I was just three years old I contacted Scarlet Fever and pneumonia. My parents feared I was going to die but with prayers to St. Theresa by my mother I regained my good health. I have continued to pray to St. Theresa all my life. She showers me with roses each time I pray in some form.

I was a young girl when I was almost picked up by a stranger driving by me on my way to church. I ignored the man and kept walking as a man walked by me who deterred the man and knew that was my Guardian Angel there to protect me. At the time I didn’t realize how serious this could have been. I did share this with people at church and when I got home with my parents.

Another time I was on the highway driving (much older by then, haha) and nearly killed by a couple of flying barrels that came loose off a truck in front of me. The barrel went past my car in an odd way and fell by the roadside. It was as if someone was guiding them short of my car. I was deeply shaken and thankful.

One other time I was at a theater and ready to come down a set of stone or marble winding steps when I lost my balance but was caught from behind by an Angel. I knew it was an Angel because I saw a smiling face behind me one minute that disappeared the next second. I did try to find her but never saw her again. I was shaken once again and truly thankful for I feel as if I would have not lived through this type of fall.

Have you ever had any situations like that happen to you? I would love to hear about your experiences.

If you haven’t checked out this series yet, I hope you will soon to experience the power of believing in Angels. I always capitalize Angels when I talk about Branyrd, in case you wondered. I hope that you will love Branyrd and Benedicto and look forward to the next book in the series.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Come back again. It is always a pleasure to have you here.

For new readers, here is a little about my writing journey. I have been writing since I was a young child with poetry and greeting cards. I began writing children’s stories when I was in my twenties, my first novel, Hunting Mariah, in my thirties, for MG/PT in my sixties and YA in my seventies. I published my first book, Louey the Lazy Elephant, after I retired. I got serious at that time and began looking into social media and began my blog and website to get myself out there. At present I have written and published 46 books and have never stopped. Each year since I have averaged writing and publishing four books a year and in 2020 we published eight. I don’t plan on stopping until my muse cannot provide creative ideas for me and that I stay healthy with the help of God. My husband has been my staunchest supporter and is also my illustrator and cover creator. I couldn’t have done any of this without his help. Together we will keep plugging along and do all we can to provide more entertaining books for you and your family.

Did you know that reading is good for you? Reading is not only important for children but it’s also very important for adults. It not only increases your word vocabulary and stimulates your mind, but also gives you a feeling of wellbeing and promotes good health, dispels feelings of loneliness, improves your memory, promotes better patterns of sleep, and don’t forget – it brings families closer when they share and read books together.

Jemsbooks have won 50 Book Awards – 21 Pinnacle Book Awards, 5 Reader’s Favorite Book Awards (Silver, Bronze and 2 Honorable Mentions and Finalist Medal), 17 Mom’s Choice Awards, 1 Authorsdb Silver Medal for Cover Contest, 2 Book Excellence Award Finalist, 2 Top Shelf Awards (First Place and Runnersup), 2 Maincrest Media Award, 1 Finalist in Red City Review Book Awards, 2 Finalists in Authorsdb First Lines Contest, and many 5-Star Reviews from Readers’ Favorite Book Awards.

When I write books for children, middle-graders and preteens I always incorporate valuable life lessons into the stories. When my children were young I wanted them to read books like this to reinforce lessons I wanted them to learn and remember. I hope your children will learn from my stories and that these lessons will help them become well-mannered and upstanding young men and women as they grow up.

Our children are the most precious ones in our lives. What we have them read in early childhood and how often will leave an impression on them for a lifetime. Children learn from their parents to read. This fact may create readers of today that will be thinkers and doers of tomorrow.

Jemsbooks make perfect gifts for all occasions – birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and other celebrations, even baby showers. If you are looking for an autographed book for that special someone or occasion, send me an email with the book of your choice and who you want me to autograph it for and an address. All sales are through PayPal. Once I receive your payment I will mail it out with a bookmark.

Thank you so much for reading this post and for your continued support. Come back again soon. You ae always welcome.

Please consider giving books to all the children on your list for all occasions. There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and wellbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers. Thank you for your support!

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!
