Life in our fish tank has been crazy with the death of our Brown Tang. We are waiting a little longer before purchasing some more fish. Our Gramma Basslet is doing okay but looks sad without any other fish to commune with him. Clown keeps looking out of his little nook in the rocks at the Gramma and starfish to make sure they are not getting too close to his space.

Gramma or Rainbow which I call him because of his beautiful colors has been trying to get close to Clown. But Clown will not nothing to do with Rainbow. I think Clown feels that Rainbow is trying to get too close to his precious anemone. He guards it with his life. Sigh!
The Chocolate Chip Starfish is doing well but scares me at times. Here are a couple of photos I snapped of him. In one he is in a weird position. He must be double-joined! Haha! I thought he was dead. But after John threw in some food he turned himself over. I have no idea why he got into that strange position!

We will purchase some more fish eventually but no more Brown Tangs. They are not strong enough to stay away from the current of the water intake and outtake. Most fish can stay away from it and not get stuck. I hate to see that happen. I’m glad the Gramma is staying clear. Maybe he learned not to go near it because of the Tang. Sad!
Stay tuned for more fish news, good or bad. Love your pets and care for them. They help to keep you healthy and happy and provide something for you to talk about. Haha!

Good news, Janice. Maybe the starfish was somersaulting with joy at the food?
Haha! He is funny the way he keeps flopping over. Scares me sometimes when I think he is dead!
Clearly a starfish with an attitude!
You got that right, my friend! haha!
Your fish tank adventures take me back 40+ years when my dear friend, Archie, had 3 tanks and I was blown away by the interactions. I send loving energy to your tank world and knowing that all IS well. ❤
Thank you, Annette. It is fascinating to watch them in action. There is something always happening there.
