Deck is ready – where’s the warm weather?

New England has had some ups and downs with the weather once again. We had a few days of warm weather but now we are in a slump once again with rain off and on and cooler temps.

I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything for a while. I am still recuperating from this awful cough but am getting there and feeling much better and stronger. I have neglected to do much writing but trying to keep up with emails, and household and day-to-day stuff.

The inclement weather did not stop my husband from getting the deck ready. In between the rain on a good day, he put out the furniture and placed flowers pots around to make it as beautiful as he could. I think he did a wonderful job. The last two photos are of me holding my Mother’s Day plant from my son and daughter-in-law and one of the indoor plant from my daughter and family.

Sickness kept us apart on Mother’s Day but I am feeling better and so is my daughter-in-law. We usually go to a brunch at Flag Hill Winery with my son and family. We hope to make it another time. My daughter and granddaughter did stop by the day before Mother’s Day even when I was still not well to deliver the plant. It was nice to see them but I hope I didn’t give them my cold.

I look forward to warmer weather so I can get out on the deck and enjoy the beauty all around us and all the hard work my husband did to make it that way for me. He’s a good man!

I hope you are enjoying some good weather wherever you live. Stop by again soon. I will try to post more about my upcoming book as soon as I put in some more time on it. Now that I am on the mend I will be able to work harder to finish it soon.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Keep reading and reviewing and I will keep writing to entertain you.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

  1. That’s a lot of work. Wow

  2. Here’s to weather we can all enjoy and the wellness to allow it! ❤

  3. Since we share much the same weather, I can say I relate! Then again, my spring flowers last longer and there’s no watering needed.

Yes, that is true. It is saving us a lot of watering! But I do want to see some sun soon. Fingers crossed! Take care. Nice to see you here! Thanks for stopping by, Cynthia! 🥰
