This children’s book is a creative way of teaching children about being different. Lamby managed to turn itself purple, by accident, and was shunned by all the other white lambs because of it. But the author provided the perfect solution to Lamby’s predicament and the story had a heartwarming ending. Children of all ages will relate to this sweet story.

This was a special book to my granddaughter since it was dedicated to her and her stuffed lamby. She was quite proud of this book at that time and had to show it to all her friends. Now she is all grown up and a teenager who probably never looks at this book now. Sigh! They grow up too fast!

It is so important for our children and grandchildren to understand the life lessons in this story about accepting others who are different and being kind to each other. This is the season for kindness and forgiveness. Every day should be that way, don’t you think?

When I write stories for children I always incorporate kindness, acceptance of differences, friendship is important, family matters and we are all beautiful no matter what color we are. You will find all my books carry many if not all of these life lessons for children. If we show kindness to others and our children witness this, then they will do the same. I may not have become a teacher but I feel that through my books I teach children many valuable lessons this way. I hope your children will enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed writing it for them.
