Each year on St. Patrick’s Day we are all Irish. (Compliments of free photos from Wikipedia and Oip.)
Here’s a little poem for this green day that I wrote several years ago and just updated.
HAVE A HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY
by Janice Spina
We can cook up some fried fish
Or some other tasty dish.
We can all wear green.
While we eat a boiled dinner with corned beef very lean.
Drink green beer and eat potato chips.
Maybe with some delicious green dips.
Dessert will be green cupcakes and cake too.
It just has to be green or it just won’t do.
How about a green Hersey Kiss for me and you?
What we may forget is that we are all the same inside.
No matter what nationality you are, wear your ethnicity with pride.
Have a wonderful Day with family and friends!
Spread the love and cheer to no end!
May the Luck of the Irish visit you today!
And whisk all the back luck away!
Blessings to all from over the rainbow – may you find that pot of gold!
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Thank you for stopping by!
Thought for the day: Spread love and cheer all year!
Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

And a top ‘o the mornin’ to you!
Irish Blessings to you! hugs
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you! In my family we were split by religious heritage into half Orange Irish and half Green Irish… none the less, we greened up every March 17th!
Haha! Glad you agree on wearing the Green!
