The roses I received on February 14th are still living nine days after receipt. I can’t believe it! This is the longest I have ever had roses survive! I haven’t done anything different to them besides adding water every other day.
Here are some photos of when I first received them and today how they look.

The photo above is from 2/23/25. They are slowly dying but still looking surprisingly good for nine days. Don’t you think? I believe it is because I have been praying for members of the family and friends who need help. St. Theresa was listening and keeping my flowers blooming.
Today as we were eating dinner with the flowers gracing our tabletop, we saw our first robin on the back deck sitting on one of our feeders. It’s a little early for them to come with over a foot of snow on the ground and no sign of it melting yet. We usually see robins hopping around on the lawn eating up the worms who come up to the surface. I guess they will be visiting our feeders until the lawn is visible again.
It’s nice to see them. They are a harbinger of spring. After this cold and snowy winter we will be ready for spring. How about you? What is your weather like? What season are you in? Do you have robins?
Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your kind and continued support. Feel free to come back again soon.

Nice 😊
Fantastic!
They are still living but fading a little now and one I had to cast aside. Sigh! Amazing that they lasted 11 days! I hate to throw them away but will by tomorrow!
Lovely! We have a few brave robins who stay here over the winter.
I was shocked to see one so early with all this snow on the ground and no sign of melting quickly. You do have brave robins.
