The now keeps on coming! I did say, ‘let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!’ I take that back now. We have had about a foot of snow recently and more is coming. Yesterday was horrendous with snow, sleep, rain and then snow again. We haven’t let our house for two days. It was too dangerous to venture out, especially at our age.
Here are some photos of the snow and the poor birds who are struggling to keep warm while eating us out of house and home. We should put them on our taxes as dependents!

We haven’t shoveled our back deck, and it is looking very deep. John went out in it to fill the bird feeders and said he had a challenging time walking through it. I won’t let him shovel and only hope that it will melt when the weather warms up a little. I don’t want to try shoveling it either with my back issues. We can always pay the contractor who does our walks, driveways, and roads to do it.
Wherever you live, I hope you are safe and warm from the elements. We are fortunate to be inside during all these storms and nowhere to go at the moment. A perfect time to work on my WIP or snuggle up with one of my many afghans and read.
Thank you for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Come back again for more news about books, snow, reviews, new projects and whatever else pops into my overcrowded brain.

That’s SOME snow Janice. We are scheduled for an inch or two tomorrow, hardly enough to complain about and I do walk in it but with crampons. The problem is the drivers – they are NUTS. The surprise is that this is the third time we’ve had snow this year in any measurable amount, after maybe 8-10 years with none! Stay inside and safe! Noelle
I plan to stay inside and safe. You be careful too! I agree drivers are crazy in snow! I don’t drive if there is any snow on the streets. 🤪❄️❄️
It won’t arrive until late afternoon but naturally all the schools are closed!
My daughter and grandkids were out one day last week and now they are on vacation this week if we get any more snow. Our deck looks awfully deep!
Wow! Stay warm and as my mom used to say, “hunker down.”
Yes, we are definitely doing a lot of hunkering! haha
Oh, the ice!
Oh yes! We have ice dams on our roof on our back deck. ❄️🥶🧊
Same here. It’s awful. Everyone’s driveway is rugged and treacherous.
Stay safe. ❄️🥶🥰
