Nearing my goal of 50 books!

I made a goal of 50 books before I stop writing or are unable to write. At currently 47 books with two WIP, I am nearing my goal of 50 books. At the time I made this goal, I didn’t think I would complete this many so quickly. I may make this goal, if not this year then in 2026.

Word Art – Gateskin Chronicles

As I get older, each year I am slowing down and not setting impossible goals for myself as I once did many years ago. I used to set goals of 5 books a year. One year I did complete 8. That will never happen again! Haha! Now I set a goal of 2-3. This year I plan to do 2 maybe 3.

It all depends upon what type of book I write and how long it is. This year after I publish the children’s book, I will get right into my fantasy series, Gateskin Chronicles Book 4. This new book already has three chapters completed. I may write two of these books, maybe not. They are epic fantasies that take a lot out of me and the preparation is time-consuming and exhausting coming up with new characters, creatures, mysteries, and magical situations for my main protagonists. Wish me luck!

My mind is always sparking with new ideas that it becomes overwhelming at times. I have two ideas on the back burners that I can’t wait to get into. But I need to complete Gateskin Chronicles Books 5 & 6 of this series before I pick up the others. I have written two books simultaneously but don’t plan on taking on more than one at a time. It can be confusing at times and mistakes can be made mixing up the stories.

There is always something brewing at JemsBooks! Watch for new books and news about whatever pops into my overcrowded head. Come on back anytime. You are always welcome.

Hi Janice, I still can’t leave a comment for you because I am told that I am not signed in – when I am! Anyway, congrats on this accomplishment. I should keep track of how many books I read- usually 3-5 a month whenever I find time to read. Also depending on the length. It took me the better part of a month to get through Demon Copperhead for our book club! Hugs, ]Noelle

Sorry to hear that. I read Demon Copperhead. My review is on my monthly reads. It was a tough one to get through! Hope you can get through Amazon’s maze to respond again, my friend! ❤️
