Let the snow come down while you curl up with a good book, a hot cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, and your favorite snacks. We got a surprise snowfall yesterday but that doesn’t deter me from grabbing a book and escaping into another story.
I have nine novels and a short story collection that will grab you and make you forget about the cold and snow in the cold areas or the heat if you are in a warm climate. This post will detail my first novel, Hunting Mariah.

My first novel was Hunting Mariah, published in 2024, which will grab you and hold on tight until the shocking ending! I guarantee you will be surprised. The story came to be in a dream after hearing about a rape on a local university campus. The story would keep repeating each night until I decided to write it down. It was a relief because it was frightening to me at that time since my son was leaving college and my daughter was going into her first year.
After receiving requests from readers about doing a sequel I wrote Mariah’s Revenge four years later in 2018. Of course since I had to reread the first book to get into the character again in order to do justice to the sequel. This prompted the dreams to return with a vengeance until I finished the book. Phew!
I will share more about each novel in separate posts in case you are interested in knowing what inspired me to write each story.
