Fall color keeps on coming!

I snapped some recent photos of the color in our backyard that I wanted to share with you. It really has brightened up the whole area with the yellows, oranges and reds. Just beautiful! I never tire of gazing out my kitchen windows at all this beauty. The sky was spectacularly clear this day too!

A day like this makes me feel blessed to be alive and able to enjoy this incredible scene. I hope you enjoy these photos too. We have to enjoy it for as long as we can since it is so fleeting.

As I mentioned in a previous post, we brought in our hibiscus plant and I stopped my husband from scalping it since it was covered with buds that were begging to blossom. I am so happy that I did because I have been enjoying all the flowers that keep on coming.

There are many more still ready to come out. I look forward to seeing each one. If my husband had trimmed it I wouldn’t be enjoying it so much now. I did mention that fact to him. Haha! I won’t let him trim it until all the flowers are gone. I have to keep a close eye on him and his trimmer in case he tries to attack the poor plant.

I hope my photos cheered you up today if you were feeling down. Fall always does that for me after my flowers are all gone. There is always something to look forward to. After fall I look forward to the crispness of the winter and watching the first snowfall as long as I don’t have to go out in it. I love the way everything looks so pristine and clean.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Come back again soon! Find time to read and review books you love for hard-working authors everywhere. Thank you!

We still have lots of blooming flowers, too – and caterpillars! But the trees are gradually turning. Not as colorful as up north, but a little here and there.
