The leaves are quickly dropping from the trees causing me to snap more photos frantically.
The weather is fresh, clean, crisp and clear as you can see by the sky in my photos.

With the evening temps dropping into the 40’s and soon 30’s John brought our nearly twenty-year-old hibiscus plant inside. I insisted that he not cut it down because of the multiple buds it has. I want to enjoy them as they keep blooming.
Here are some photos of the gorgeous plant, two outside and two inside.

Eventually John will managed to prune it down when I am not looking. 😳
He has been known to decimate (strong word but true) plants causing them to hibernate after being butchered. 😔 The plants do come back in due time.
Here are some salmon blossoms. Many more are coming.

My son and his family gifted me this beautiful plant nearly twenty years ago on Mother’s Day. We keep it inside the house all winter long without blossoms once it is pruned back and then put it back outside when the temps are warm enough.
This fall I noticed that it appeared to flower more in the cooler temperatures than ever before. Amazing! There were always one or two flowers at a time but this year we have had several flowers appearing at the same time! It was glorious to see! I hope it will continue to do that inside.
Here is another plant that is still flowering- a dipladenia or bougainvillea. I don’t bring this one in though. There is no more room for it. It is quite lovely too. We buy one every year and it always does well.

I hope you enjoyed my pics and come back for more.
