I have lived in New Hampshire for many years now and it still is exciting to see footprints in the snow. It’s amazing to see how many animals traversed our back, side and front yard and we never see them. They probably passed through the night undetected.

We have even had a deer in our front yard at the foot of our stairs going to our front deck eating a pumpkin. I have shared that photo before. We had no idea the deer had been that close to our house. Our neighbor took the photo. Now that I mentioned that I will have to share it again. Right? Incredible, huh?
Can you decipher what made these prints? Some are turkeys, deer, a feral cat while others could be a fox, Fisher cat and whatever else passed through.
Living in New Hampshire is never boring. There is always something to do, see and experience. I wouldn’t live anywhere else in the world.
I hope you are happy with wherever you live too and stay safe and well.

How cool… nocturnal visitors of a friendly nature! LOVE the pic of the deer. My sister will take our leftover pumpkins to the park around the corner from our house so that the deer hanging around can enjoy them.
Yes, I love it! Deer love the pumpkins and so do the squirrels! 🐿️ 🦌
I’m not good at reading footprints but how nice to know you are not alone!
It is amazing to see how much traffic we have in our backyard. I would love to put a camera on the back deck to catch all the activity.
You should,. We had a hunter on our land at our old place. Very responsible, bow and arrow, never left an animal wounded. Only took one deer a year. He had a camera installed and wow, the wildlife he captures.
I have to convince John to do it. 🤣
That is so lovely being able to see their presence through footprints otherwise how would you know….
Exactly! Thanks for stopping by, Curious rascal! 🥰
