I have been praying for snow to help our ski resorts who are losing business because of the lack of snow. This first snowstorm should help them out – nearly a foot in Londonderry. We also need the snow to help refill the aquifer which will help many wells that are in New Hamshire. Last year we were in a serious drought. Hopefully this year will be better with more snow.
Also, I love to see the snow as long as I don’t have to be out in it. As a child I loved it to make snow angels, snowballs and go sledding. Now I would much rather stay inside by a warm fire with a good book and a hot cup of tea. Ha!
Here are some more photos I snapped from inside my warm and cozy house.

I took some of these later at night but the snow looks so pristine and beautiful as it clings to the trees. It won’t look as white after a few days as the traffic kicks up all the dirt and covers it. I had to capture it while it is still lovely. It looks like a winter wonderland.
Luckily we don’t have to shovel it since we live in a community that does that. But we do have to shovel off our back deck which is large. I’m hoping if the weather gets warmer it will melt somewhat.
I hope wherever you live that you are having some good weather and staying safe if you are under heavy snow as we are here.

Beautiful!
Thank you! It truly is until it gets dirty! 🤣
We awoke to a dusting yesterday, but it is all gone now.
Aww so sad! We had nearly a foot and more coming but also rain! It will be messy! 😜
Yay! At last some beautiful snow! We are heading to Utah this weekend to experience some!
Safe travels! Enjoy!
Great pictures. Northern CT got lots of snow, but the shoreline didn’t.
I like the snow as well. If I don’t have to anywhere either
