Branyrd the Angel is a different kind of Angel as you will see when you read this series. Please read book 1 first to get into her character and see how she matures and completes each mission in her own inimitable way. She uses common sense, love, kindness, and a caring manner to ensure that every person is happy and at peace in their lives. She doesn’t need magic but will turn to her Guardian Angel, Benedicto, if she needs assurance or assistance in tough situations. She can also depend on the LORD to see her through any problems she encounters. I capitalize the word Angel to make it stand out here and, in these books, too.
Though this book is not for young children, it is suitable for 15+. If you are not a believer about Angels in our lives who lead us on the right paths, you just might become one after reading this series and wish that you had Branyrd on your side to help you along in difficult times.
When I wrote this series I was influenced by what I saw on the news, TV and online. There is so much heartache, war, tragedies, lives lost and those who are forgotten that I had to began a series with a savior like Branyrd who could solve the toughest problems and be there for those who are suffering and in dire need of spiritual intervention. Branyrd was born out of this need to help find solutions to impossible odds. When you read this series you will feel inspired, your hearts lightened, and that there is still hope out there for all who need it. If only we had solutions to all the problems of today as Branyrd has.
This is not a children’s book. Branyrd is a different kind of angel. She has a difficult time being understood because of her habit of getting into all kinds of trouble and for her unacceptable language. Angels are not supposed to swear.
This angel must earn levels to be accepted by the LORD. She is presently at Angel Fourth Class and must ascend to Angel First Class in order to be given a mission to travel to Earth to help a human in trouble.
Once she reaches Angel First Class, she is given a mission and travels to Earth to help a battered woman and her child. Since she is so new to the ways on Earth, Branyrd is accompanied by her Guardian Angel Benedicto, Angel First Class on High, who guides and advises her.
Branyrd doesn’t know what she will do or how she will complete this mission. She must show her strengths and succeed, or she may be demoted. What she finds on Earth is not what she expected. It certainly is nothing like Heaven. There are dangerous people but also those who she will miss dearly when she must leave.
Branyrd goes on another mission to Earth, this time she has been enlisted to help a homeless vet and his young son. The Angel goes out of her way to put things right for Lucas and his son, Ezra. She finds it difficult through with the influx of empathic messages and feelings that threaten to overload her. Will she be able to help Lucas get his family back together and find his way to recovery after suffering from PTSD?
Branyrd is a funny, sweet, strong, resilient and capable Angel who is not afraid to take on the toughest tasks, who strives to pave the way for those in need, who creates change and makes a difference in the lives of others that enables them to find their way forward to a good life.
When Branyrd visits a homeless community, she meets with the mayor to work out a plan to solve the problems the homeless have there. Will others stop her from helping those in need? Will Benedicto be there in case she needs his intervention? Will Branyrd be able to break free from the connections she has made when it is time for her to leave Earth and return to Heaven?
Branyrd is on another mission which may be the toughest one so far. She has been sent to a troubled island in the South Pacific that is being attacked by the fellow islands in the archipelago. Her mission is to rescue some children from an orphanage during the attacks.
She is escorted, once again, by her Guardian Angel, Benedicto, who is there as counsel and aide as she completes her mission. What Branyrd finds there is devastation and heartbreak as she tackles the mission, this time one of love for the children and the rest of the islanders who have lost family and homes.
There are many obstacles that stand in her way and danger for the children and others as she must rescue not only them, but also another island that is in danger of sinking.

I have been touched by an Angel in my life. I mentioned this before in another post. Let me explain in case you didn’t read this before. I was attending a show at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH which not far from my home. We enjoy these wonderful shows a few times a year. Watch for Book 4 coming in 2024!
On this occasion I was returning from the restroom which was on the second floor of this beautiful building with a marble and stone staircase. I was just about to put my foot on the first stair when I lost my balance and thought I was going to fall all the way down this long winding staircase to a serious injury or death. My husband was by my side but did not know that I was in trouble. Before I began to fall, I felt someone tugging me back using my sweater and settling me on the top step. I was of course startled and relieved but turned to thank the person who had saved me from a fatal fall. I saw a woman with short dark hair. She smiled, turned away and disappeared. I never saw her again. I kept looking into the crowd behind me before attempting to descend the stairs just to make sure she wasn’t nearby. I kept my hand firmly on the railing this time and took my time going down. Ever since then I no longer go up those stairs. How lucky could I be if I stumbled again? There may not be another angel there to save me! I may have used up all my lives.
It was something I think about often when I go there. Of course, I described this episode to my husband once we sat down to the second half of the show. He just looked at me with wide-eyes and nodded. He knows that I am a believer. He smiled and said, ‘that’s good to know.’ He hadn’t even been aware of what had happened. Whether he believed me or not, I do believe that it was an angel watching over me for which I am deeply grateful and feel blessed. Have you ever had an angel come into your life?
Please do not despair for there is help out there for everyone. I pray for all those in need, who have suffered atrocities, that they will find peace. God bless them all. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year! Make someone’s Christmas extra special by giving them a book! What better way to say that you care?
