I love to write different stories with a twist at the end. Don’t you love to be surprised? These short stories in my book, AN ANGEL AMONG US, will delight you and keep you turning pages and wishing for more. There is even a special short story in this collection for Christmas that will put you in the spirit of giving.

A collection of short stories that covers several genres including romance, grief/loss, mystery, suspense, sci-fi, fantasy and paranormal. This book is dedicated to a courageous friend who passed this year. The first story is specially created for her and is the inspiration for the title of this book.

I dedicated the first story to a high school friend, Anne Gillis Benedetto, who I had reconnected with on FB. We hadn’t seen or spoken for many years. I guess that is what happens – we get caught up with our own lives. It was such a pleasure to connect with her again but tragic at the same time when she told me that she has lost her beloved husband a year before and was now dying from breast cancer. My heart was breaking for her and regretted not reaching out sooner, if I had only known.

Since I was in the middle of writing this short story collection, I told her that I would write a short story just for her and her belated husband and dedicate the book to her. She was beyond pleased and told me so in a few emails. These emails are shared at the end of the story. She was a lovely person, kind, caring and generous and is loved and missed by me and many others whose lives she touched.
