Happy Thanksgiving! Proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln!

Wishing all in USA a Happy Thanksgiving and to the rest of the world a Happy Day! I read some interesting information about Thanksgiving and how it was established in the USA. The article was written in my local paper, The Manchester Union Leader, Manchester, New Hampshire.

I enjoyed reading it and wanted to share it with you in case you did not know how it was became a national holiday. Thanks to Manchester Union Leader for featuring it this year.

Below is the letter Sarah Josepha Hale sent to President Abraham Lincoln regarding the Thanksgiving proposal. I hope you can read this. You can always make it bigger though if you can’t.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your continued support! I hope everyone has a lovely day today whether or not you are celebrating Thanksgiving.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!
