Each year since COVID I am thankful that we all got through it unscathed. We continue to be careful and obtain our up-to-date boosters to ensure we stay healthy as we get older.
This year (2023) I look forward to our special Thanksgiving at my sister’s house with many of our family. Last year many of them were sick and could not make it. I hope this year they will all be there.
There is always so much food that I get full just looking at it. I have been cutting down and watching more carefully how much and what I eat due to stomach issues. I just may lose some much needed weight at the same time.
What I like best about Thanksgiving are the smells that permeate the air as we walk into the house and the sounds of laughter and family gathered there. They are a panacea to the heart and soul.

It’s a time to be thankful.
It’s a time to be helpful.
It’s a time to be caring.
It’s a time to be sharing.
It’s a time to remember others.
It’s a time to remember that we are all sisters and brothers.
It’s a time to show love.
It’s a time to thank God above.
Thanksgiving is a time to remember that every day we should be thankful.
My family all get together for Thanksgiving to eat plenty of delicious foods, share wine, love, friendship, and catch up on everything that we have done since last year.
It’s a joyful time for everyone to be together again. With our busy lives we don’t always have time to get together during the year. It is a time to be thankful for each other, our joys, good times, and bad that we survived, and having family there to support one another.
